Though to be fair, our shortlist of candidates is... well... quite short. You know what I'd do? Hiddink for two years with a view to making Clarke top boss. He could probably do a Villas Boas for Chelsea. Too bad those idiots that run Chelsea don't have any balls. (Gourlay and Co)
 
Well, O'Neill I think is very good, needs a chance with a top team. Hughes had that chance, and failed.

Yeah they want the manager to come in and decide who to buy, but they really dragging it out..
 
Hiddink would be a top class choice, he commands serious respect from the players.

He ran the team like a serious business and got proper results out of the boys.

My wish, my WISH would be to have him as manager for a year, then install him as DoF and have Clarke take over. Clarke could be our Villas-Boas, I'm ****ing telling you.
 
Modric has just come out and publicly said he wants to leave tottenham ,and preferably stay in London ...guess you guys can now start popping the champagne bottles

lol sounds like the press most likely took his statement about leaving in future and staying in London now, and turning it into he wants to leave now but only for a club in London :D

Argue? with all the ****ty press saying how united has signed Young, de Gea, etc... all these press conference about not leaving, wanting to leave and the likes are bunch of hog wash :D so until someone with proof stating that Modric or anyone has signed anything I don't need to argue any point :p

Well some validty is provided in the fact that Rednapp responded to those comments by saying Modric has had his head turned ,and they would do everything to keep him

The way the media was going on it was going to be Hiddink, I mean according to the media Hiddink has already appointed an assistant by bringing back what's his name and was linked to making a host of signings.

Football transfer season is really a glowing example of what modern media has become. Opinion, speculation and rumour must make up atleast 80% of the "news" that we consume these days. Sad really.
