Chelsea and Arsenal going down the pecking order. Man City too inconsistent and Spurs had a once off good season. Team to look out for next season is Liverpool. Its only a matter of time before the hypocrite fergie retires and then pool regain the most successfull english club in britian. the mancs should enjoy it while they can. took them a massive 19 years to pass us only by 1 more title. just shows how good and dominating we were those years.as they say, for every beginning comes and ending. i'm afraid mancs, the end is naai

:wtf:

Couldn't watch the match. Heard he played well. Compare his to Benayoun's performance if you don't mind?

Who told you he played well? :erm: Benayoun didn't really sparkle either. Drogba wasn't bad when he came on, seems to be enjoying his football recently.

Torres daughter: "Daddy the bad man in the number 11 shirt said that you're past it!!" :D

As for the game - Poor match, poor ending to our final home match! Most the players did not turn up! They came out there and just looked like they were not fully interested! Credit to Brana, Alex and Drogba who played with at least some fire in their belly!

Also might be Goodbye to Carlo, sad way to send him off! As he's been a great coach in certain aspects for us, maybe he deserves another season to show what he can do with some new players in the team but I fear that Romans had it with the current situation and will look to change things! I'm just curious as to who he has lined up - I seriously hope its Hiddink cos everyone else that is available is just a step down on Ancelotti! Heres hoping to an improved team next year with a few signings for certain positions! It is most evident that it is required, at the very least to freshen up the dressing room!

Wow he dribbles, falls without diving, shoots and celebrates his goal better than Torres :D

From the Chelsea Facebook account:
Drogabe signs for another year, Essien and Anelka leaving and Neymar, Lukaku and someone (can't remember who) have signed or are about to

Which facebook page? This sounds like tabloid speculation to me! Certainly some of those transfers and exits look likely to happen but they're still in the process of happening! As for Essien leaving, haven't heard much about that other than Ac Milan supposedly being interested in him!

Bad end to a very very poor season by Chelseas standard! Its been a long time since the team has looked like they're toothless! However its clear that certain players are past their prime will probably move on after this season. Good servants they have been, but most likely Paulo, Anelka, FloMa, Bosingwa, Zhirkov - with question marks around Mikel - will be leaving the Bridge. Also will most probably be the end of Ancelotti - I'm split about that one - but if they sack him I hope they do it with dignity and not like Avram Grant. He has managed to get us back to what seemed a very distant and unlikely 2nd place, so all credit to Carlo

Other than that looking forward to next season with some exciting young players coming in and also returning from Loan with a bit of first team experience! As always i'll Keep the Blue flag flying high and wait for Chelseas renewed assault on Man U next season where hopefully we make much more of a fight for the title than we did this year :)

Absolutely poor form from our Clubs management! Behaving like bloody douche-bags if you ask me!! Whats the point of sacking the man so soon after the game finished - is this football manager?? At least show the man some respect and give him the sack after everythings cooled down and you've managed to get another manager on board! Frik, sometimes Roman, Buck and Gourlay amaze me!

Still Carlo has served us with excellence, great manager who found himself undermined by Butchs sacking! In addition injuries to our key four, lack of squad depth after departure of Ballack etc, poor form of other players and struggling with tactical decisions due to Torres arrival has made his job a bit harder than it should've been this season. Sure he's had his own bad patches with regards to tactics, substitutions, motivating players etc. but I think he should've been given at least a season more with some new players to prove his worth. Anyway time to move on IMO - the only managers worthy of replacing him and willing to come to Chelsea are Mou and Hiddink, every other proposed name seems a step down. Mous not coming, so I really hope that Hiddink will take over full time from now!
