Yeah definitely! Supposedly Juan Mata is close to a switch and if that happens Boas wants to add one more creative midfielder.
The strikers are not getting any decent service, too much is required out of the wider forwards.
Lamps is getting a bit slow, but still good, needs a good spotter/passer alongside that can break the final wall, Mata/Modric or both!

An agreement has been reached with Valencia CF for the transfer to Chelsea of midfielder Juan Manuel Mata.
The move is now subject to the player passing a medical and agreeing personal terms.

Definitely great news!
Last 2 games Chelsea didn't know how to get passed an organised defence, none of the midfield had the skill to get through. We relied to much on the wingers on strikers. You saw how Torres tried to get through the whole time but there was no one helping him at times. Malouda and Anelka and the 2 wing backs had to do a lot. Hopefully Mata brings in some flair and another midfielder.

AVB said he wants to do a 4-3-3.
I dunno I think Chelsea will get slaughtered by the stronger teams if they play 4-3-3

Few gripes tho, which I think mata will be able to fix, since before he went on Chelsea were struggling terribly to a team like Norwich at home... if that happened how will Chelsea play against Man u, City at home... worse away!
Hoping Mata has more good passes in him.
Lukkaku played well, still think he's adjusting but had his moments.
