Official Chelsea Supporters' Thread

Last night reminded me of what this team can be. A passionate coach, every player giving 100%, going toe-to-toe with the best in the league and holding our heads high.

Also reminded me why I still don't want Anthony Taylor to get anywhere near a Chelsea game.

and another coach added to the 'disgraceful officiating' list...

Ja, it was all fun and games when it was the scousers getting screwed

Now they're realising that the officials and VAR need a complete overhaul because they're absolutely schit at their jobs (and for some strange, inexplicable reason, seemingly softer on certain teams whose owners provide all expenses paid midweek jollies and sideline income opportunities in exotic locations...)

Roman Abramovich: Chelsea set for more Premier League scrutiny over former owner's era

The Guardian has reported that Abramovich, a Russian billionaire who owned the club for 19 years until he was sanctioned by the British Government last year, used offshore companies to make payments which appear to have been for the club's benefit.

The Premier League is already investigating the club after their new owners became aware of "potentially incomplete financial reporting" linked to the Abramovich era while completing their due diligence as part of the takeover and self-reported the information they discovered to the league and other regulators.

"These payments worth tens of millions of pounds were made to advisors of players and managers. The names being mentioned by The Guardian are advisors of Eden Hazard, to Willian, to Antonio Conte. Those advisors have done nothing wrong in receiving this money but this may have broken FP rules.

"If these payments were secret, they were registered with the authorities. We already know the FA and the Premier League are investigating Chelsea's finances, and UEFA has already investigated them. That was all because the new owners of Chelsea did their due diligence when they bought the club and they came across some payments which hadn't been made declared to the authorities.

This was self-reported by the new ownership group, so fair play. There are rumours however that it could result in a points deduction.

Big game tonight. Curious to see which Chelsea side shows up. If it’s the one against City and Brighton, we could be good. If it’s the one against Newcastle, it’s gonna be a hammering.
