No dedicated servers? One actually has to host a MP game?

There are dedicated servers, but they are unranked. There are rumours going round, though that the ports for the dedi's will be opened soon to allow for ranking on them. Probably won't happen this year...

So if you want ranked games you need to host a game/s. Unranked would be dedicated servers.

I fail to see how this works. Shouldn't it be the other way round? Ranked servers being dedicated servers and hosted games unranked.

Might just be me not understanding this whole COD series :o

I have 384Kbs line. I have no problems though I have to drop the channel quality all the way down on TS...
 
I am addicted to the game - on XBox360 though. I also bought the PC version but prefer to pay on console.

My son uses the PC when I am on the console (which is almost always).

Ordered 5 large COD posters which will get vacuum sealed in perspex and framed with black brushed aluminium. Going to hang then in my game room :)

Hey Slaughts had some fun games yesterday, 1st time since release that i had a proper connection with full bars and no lag on combat situations, score similar to black ops btwn 2 and 3 ratio, i think the way forward is to just join friends or get invited, yesterday was the first time i enjoyed the game, now they just need to sort some things out like FOV and then finally dediranked.
 
Yeah - agreed. I saw you playing with us yesterday. Just join on one of us, we usually have one or two spaces available.

If we get a bad ping we usually leave and try again untill one of us are the host. :)
 
we need a Uber hefty patch for MW3, lets see if there will be one and how long it takes for infinitely whore_d to remember that we bought a 'AAA' product from them just 10 blarry days ago:(
 
Fark it ... I caught a bunch of my Clan members running a freaking Level hacker.... and they are some of my top team members. Flew off the wall yesterday. I was the moer in... Looks like my clan is going to get a bit smaller from today! I have no tolerance for it, they must leave my clan!

Not happy, very disappointed :(

Waiting to see if they get VAC bans, I feel k@k doing the Name & Shame thing. Was a couple of good guys with one or two newer younger ones. If you know the names of guys in my clan, watch for the sudden clan name changes.... those no longer wearing DoG tags, well, you know why! There are 3 out right as of now. I gave them the opportunity to "leave gracefully" before i bring down my banhammer...
 
I cannot get a game with more than one red bar connection just going from game to game exiting straight away:mad:
 
hey guys i wonder if u can help me have had major issues with mw3 recently 1st time i got it it installed but it only installed 11.4gb it had to download 1.6gb from steam which was messed up but i got it running and that was important,then today it asked to download 7gb of informatio so i uninstalled steam and mw3 cleaned the registry and now i install and it get stuck and creating local cache wtf?is there any answers to this?
