Everton boss David Moyes is trying to land Greek defender Kostas Manolas.

The 20-year-old centre-half helped his club to clinch the Greek Cup last season and could sign on at Goodison in the window – after rejecting advances from German clubs. Manolas (above) is an under-21 international and has been in the full *international squad despite his tender years. Moyes needs a new centre half as Sylvain Distin is out of contract soon and may move on in the summer – or be sold sooner.
