Looks like Burnley just sealed Everton's fate

They're still vulnerable, along with Leeds. 38 pts will be the target for all 3 teams. Burnley has the goal difference advantage, Leeds will go down if it comes to goal difference. Everton have 2 games in hand over both.

Burnley (34 pts):
Villa home
Spurs away
Villa away
Newcastle home

Losses against Spurs and Newcastle. They will have to take a minimum of 4 points off of Villa to guarantee safety.

Leeds (34 pts):
Arsenal away
Chelsea home
Brighton home
Brentford away

Losses against Arsenal and Chelsea. Will be targeting a home win against Brighton and a point away to Brentford to reach 38.

Everton (29 pts):
Chelsea home
Leicester away
Watford away
Brentford home
Palace home
Arsenal away

3 wins against Watford, Brentford and Palace are possible and puts Everton on 38 pts. Not likely, but doable as they won't have anything to play for. Watford will be relegated by the time they play (nothing to play for) and Brentford have just secured safety (party end to the season). Palace will be the toughest one, they've become a damn good team under Vieira.

Well, with that win Leeds are in serious trouble. Two more wins from their remaining 5 and they stay up.

I’ve always thought Everton are too big to be relegated. I may be proven wrong.s

West Ham, Aston Villa and Newcastle have all gone down. Sunderland plowed the depths of League One. Nobody is too big to stay up.

If we are honest, it is a miracle that Everton haven't already gone down if you look back at how they were performing before Moyes rejuvenated them. Througout the 90s and in to the early 2000s they were a bottom of the table side, frequently involved in relegation scraps, including surviving on the last day on one occassion.
Between the inauguration of the Premier League and Moyes arrival (9 seasons), they only finished in the top-half once and were involved in relegation scraps in 6 of those seasons. We're seeing peak 90s Everton misery.

So this is proper Everton that we’re seeing now?
