Official Fallout 4 Thread

I absolutely loved the latest DLC (adding Far Harbour), adding much more “Fallout” value to the game, now they have announced more DLCs,

Just mod your game. The graphical overhaul mods I played with probably looked way better than the remastered version will look. Graphics were breathtaking.

I've currently got it on Xbox 360, and haven't been able to finish it due to it freezing all the time. Want to put save games on xbox live and then hopefully continue where I left off on my Xbox one

The remaster actually looks quite good.

I've got skyrim leg ed but have not played it yet. There are so many mods out there you dunno wtf to chose from, it's just so confusing as to which ones to download. I've watched youtube vids from chabal, hodilton etc and the mods look awesome but you can't have them all. I like to mod my games but skyrim you dunno where to start.

Everyone which has purchased Skyrim + all the DLCs or the Skyrim Legendary Edition will receive the Remastered Edition on the house. The mods... too many to test out. The Remastered Edition will also bring mods to the consoles.

Yeah I know but the amount of mods out there is just overwhelming. The stock game does not look that great imho but when you watch some of those ENB vids you go WOW! I'll wait for the remaster and then look at it again.

This would be great. I bought Skyrim on the xbox 360 as well as the expansions for it. Have you got a source for this?
 
Bit of a necro but I'm playing the dlcs are almost a years break. Thoroughly enjoying them!Far harbour is great
 
I recently started playing Fallout 4 again. Really enjoying it again and not sure way I ever stopped.

Is the DLC worth getting. What DLC is better to focus on or should I invest in all of them (Season Pass)

The two expansion DLC are really good in my opinion and more true to Fallout. The other DLC is more gimmick, well, pending on how you look at it...

Far harbour is amazing, best dlc I've played in ages. Nukaworld is good too. I'd recommend those 2

If Bethesda didn't overprice the season pass so badly I would have gladly bought it. Instead I've long since uninstalled Fallout 4 since finishing the core game.

If the game was amazing I might have bit the bullet, but it wasn't. It was decent though, but to me not worth a season pass that costs more than the game.

All things considered the only dislike that I had at the end was the settlement building aspect, it took the adventure away in my opinion. Far Harbour gave the game its touch back, but I’m yet to complete the DLC expansions.
 
I am currently busying tidying up on all the DLC. Got the Season pass at BT Games for R300 bucks months ago.

Automatron, Far Harbor and Vault-Tec Workshop are all great. Still got to play Nuka-World. I actually liked the settlement building aspect though its a bit clunky.
 
The settlement building UI sucks so badly mostly because most of the time spent in it is just trying to navigate. I only use it if absolutely needed and got a mod to end the settlement attacks because endlessly managing them makes me want to reach for a physical hammer...

The biggest problem of the game though is memory leaks that cause infinite loading.... earlier fallouts at least got on with it and crashed already. Especially in the densely populated middle of the map this becomes a problem to the point where manually killing the game's process and restarting became routine. Apparently the only fix for this is getting more ram and a SSD... too expensive a fix for a lot of people including me.
 
The game disappointed me, the ending is really, really stupid. I mean it didn't even really follow Fallout tradition and give us an idea of what happened. I built all those settlements for nothing, the island even had an aircraft hangar with my power armour in it. Okay kind an aircraft hangar :-)
