Let's be honest....1gb of memory doesn't cut it anymore. I believe tablets have to be replaced on a 2 year cycle like phones. My tod loves it though...and he bitches incessantly when it lags. Technically, its his
 
So I got a notification for update to 5.0.1 tonight, was small 17.5mb. So I selected to reboot and install, but it rebooted and went to into recovery, I exited that and rebooted and I'm still on 5.0 and it says no updates :/ strange
 
Still nothing for my Nexus 7 2013 wifi. Are you guys saying to hold off when it comes?

Yeah got the same model, I have mine rooted with custom recovery and unlocked bootloader, so not sure if that's the issue?
Still very new to this nexus, so I'm not too clued up to be honest.

Don't reckon it can hurt to install the OTA update though? :/

Am assuming you are rooted?
 
I received the 5.01 ota update. No problems with it. 2013 wifi.

I'm loving lollipop.
 
I did a manual install of 5.0 about a month ago. Received the ota 5.01 over the weekend.
