And mine has arrived
South Africa’s biggest forum. Discuss, discover, and connect with thousands of members.
I went with a Thule Kindle Fire sleeve rather than a cover , since the device is already small, i don't want to bulk it up while using it. It is gorilla glass after all, not even sure i am going to bother with a screen protector.
I got this sleeve : http://www.thule.com/en/ZA/Products/Luggage/LaptopAndTablet/Gauntlet-Kindle-Fire-Sleeve
Was quite surprised at the price (R220, at some IT shop, Dion-Wired also stock Thule stuff) , considering how rugged it looks. Fits the Nexus 7 perfectly.
That said, look at the Kindle covers, they seem to be in all the shops now, most of them work perfectly for the Nexus. If you ask for a 7" tablet cover alot of the shop people just look at you with glassy eyes while there is an entire Kindle Accessory section right behind them *boggle* .

This might be a stupid question, but are they new or used? Sure hope they are new, at that price, it is hard to resist.
From what I've seen the 3G version is about a grand more.
Will be R1300 more from Esquire. Even more from Firsttech.
R3900 for 32gig 3G from Firsttech.
im really liking these covers!!!

Did you order?
Just got mine, got it rooted, now its time to theme it. Is it possible to buy one of those USB adaptors from a store or is online the only option?
Anyone running a custom ROM on their Nexus 7?
Nexus 7 4G has arrived! Cover and all - was only expecting it next week but got delivered early this morning... and I'm extremely happy.
If you want one, check this out http://handshake.co.za/2012/asus-google-nexus-7-tablet-south-african-pricing/ before you buy.
