Thanks man! Never bought off eBay, is there a specific buyer/shop you could refer me to?

The higher the class, the faster the transfer rate (device dependant). Class 2 is apparently the one that comes with the Desire and it's perfect, but I suppose if you're gonna transfer stuff between your pc and Desire a lot, then you can decide if you want a higher transfer rate or not.

A quick one, has anyone had an issue where the gTalk (Talk App as such) messages or sms' do not stack correctly? i.e. I say something then directly below that a friend replies that is what I mean by stack. But in my case it collects like 5 of things I have said and groups them then groups the 5 responses together. So the conversation doesn't seem to flow.

Finally got the sms to say my Desire has arrived at the Vodashop here....Was supposed to take 3 days, but apparently due to severe lack of stock, it took a week...Still, can't wait for tomorrow morning when I go pick it up!

congratz mate, you never gonna be able to put that thing, down. batt life is a bit bad in the beginning but it gets better over time :)
 
Man the phone is really sweet, having some problem downloading new widgets via wlan.. some reason is just can't download but the explorer works perfectly

Edit: Btw anyone got a good rss feed for sa news. News24 seems to not work

I think my gf hates the phone....I am on it the WHOLE time! Can't stop it, i am completely addicted.
 
Quick question, I am having trouble with receiving MMS for some reason, I get the message, with a big "download" button inside the text area. Then when I press download (have to press it 3 or 4 times to start downloading) it just says "downloading" forever and the pic never comes through...

Using Handcent atm. But the same happens if I try download it in the standard message app. Sometimes when I send a MMS back, the one the person sent me comes through...? Weird...
 
My wife is Mad @ me because i hide my HTc desire in the bed and hide under the covers, messing around with it LOL :)

does anyone find the latest update for handcent seems sticky now and again, maybe i am doing something wrong

I also having difficulties with mms but my issue was remedied by switching wifi off.

Other than checking your settings I wouldn't know what else to suggest.

I don't have wifi on most of the time anyway so I don't think its that. Where can I get the correct settings for Vodacrap? If I user the *# number it does not pick up settings for the phone...
