Does any one else have an Issue with WhatsApp not always picking up numbers in the phonebook. Even after a re-fresh of contacts, turned phone on etc. I got whatsApp through the beta/trial so am not on the same one in the market but it still gets updates.
 
Really noob question here, eish .... got my phone but for some reason, it has no internet access? What do I need to do, because I've 'enabled' the option in setup but ja, nada.
 
Ok found it ....... and then R18 later I learned how to turn everything off so that it doesn't eat airtime even just sitting.

Yep right now I got three registered names n about 20 other +27s. I got over it coz the system is hot n cold. Just make peace or to solve create links in your phone book = "People" to whatsapp then the name should stay permanent.. except you're gonna have two registered people in your phone book... eg. John 07... and below him John +277...

any MTN prepaid chaps got the gingerbread OTA update? I must still download the 2.29.405.2 (28.8mb) one but that's the only one it picks up... I'm in Northern Pretoria.

Defeating the purpose of a connected device. Rather carry a car charger and usb cord (R50) at work.

But if you really want to switch everything off, rather look at something like Juice Defender. Intermittent connectivity, etc.
 
Using v45 Nightly - they're busy incorporating a lot more Sense 3.0 goodies from the Sensation, but the chef was away for the weekend & v47 was a bit of a disaster...

Been using v45 for, I think, about 2 weeks now. Haven't experienced a single issue. It feels like having a new phone again. The only slight hiccup is that the Sense 3.0 weather animations can be a little jumpy, but they had to be almost wholly recoded to work on the Desire's slightly lower res screen, and it's something I can most certainly live with.

I haven't had LeeDroid on my phone since the Froyo days - been running baadnewz's ROMs since Gingerbread hit.

try robo's 2.0 rcmix
or insertcoins 1.0.8
or coolexes ace s or vision s
or reflex s 2.1.2 (im using 2.1.0 and its very stable and working well)
