Official HTC One thread

Yip that's it, they did not have the + on the system and it was endless issues. Ended up selling the + as i could not use it.

like i said,the "One" isnt on the system so you'll be struggling as well with this device,so i would say get the One but use Voda or MTn as they have it on the network(well MTN just got it)

but both will be able to assist if you are having any data setting probs

Did you get a estimated day on which you will get the phone?

she said the paperwork is going through today so tomorrow MTN will give a date at which the phone will arrive ,this can be anything between 4-10 working days she said.. so i asked her latest ?

She said if all is good and MTn sends the device tomorrow i could just maybe come in to the store by Friday or Monday to sign my contract package and take my device

the waterfront branch is by far one of the better branches if i recall correctly i think i even got my DHD there
they def know how to get things done will stick with them from now on!

Called them yesterday. Guy I spoke to called the warehouse and they are still waiting for HTC to deliver, but apparently they had two units in stock. Reserved one for me, so they may still have the other one available. Ask for Thapelo - awesome service! Can't collect coz the units are not at the branch, but expecting delivery of my One anytime this week.

new sim so they have to do a sim swap, and we sadly pay for that. its like R135 I think.

I have a hintch that the MTN guys are also still waiting for stock.!
If thats true the wait could be very long....just guessing.

But i hope you guys get your devices quickly,then ill only order mine.....because i dont want to be kept waiting on empty promises .

i emailed them yesturday at 4pm and she replied with this.

"MTN het my gister trug geemail om te vra vir ons address so dit lyk my ons kry die foon maar sal jou laat weet sodra hy hier is..Dit sal sekerlik 5 werks dae neem"
