I have never, ever knocked Lopsy, Flower or Hash. As a matter of fact Hash is my favourite cricket player. A hero of sorts if you will. So get back in your cage and play your violin music to yourself.

I have no idea who knocked Hash here, he's pretty much unanimously respected. I'm guilty of knocking Lopsy, but more for his fitness, fielding and attitude...
 
Dammit, they've gotten the highest WC score now. I suppose we still have a chance to claim it from the UAE... :D

Amla opens, AB plays in the middle order. That doesn't make one better than the other no matter how hard you may try. They're both great in their roles and the rankings reflect this...
 
400 at the CWC - the pinnacle of the game - so frequently yet guys hardly bat an eyelid and casually say "we'll reclaim our record"?

The game has truly gone to the dogs!

Amla averages 32 against the Aussies and AB averages 62.

Wrong both are openers! One an accomplished one, the other a failed one. Yet another stat that upsets you guys. At least Mike Hussey fans know how to take that one on the chin cordially. Why you guys even belabor the point beats me. Acknowledging it is being fair to other openers who ended up with mid 30 averages like AB - Sanath etc, who some still coonsider great even though they can't hold a candle to Amla. AB bats where even a Michael Bevan is a great. Different class to Amla, Sachin, Ganguly&Hayden who opened, were never defeated by form in that position, and have 40+ averages ... except of course Amla will be more a 60+ kind of guy.

I though I had Australia down as 250 run victors not 150.

My point was more about how rule changes+equipment have made the game so crazy.

West Indies had the highest T20 score on the tour 236. samuels aside, their poorer batsmen got them close to 300 against Steyn, Philander, Morkel&Tahir while chasing 430. Imagine if Gayle&Russell had chipped in. We'd have had an 400+runs match.

Someting must be done by the ICC. I tell you 460+ was in danger today.

6.14pm Oh man this doesn't excite anymore. yet another 400. Some excellent batting but the odds are so stacked in the batsmen's favour the thrill is gone. Warner threatened a triple century today, but fell short of a double. Maxwell threatened breaking the record for the fastest WC hundred, but once again fell in the 90s.
