TBH I don't care where we finish in the pool as long as we qualify.

This whole thing about rather playing X in Sydney or Y in Perth is irrelevant.

If you want to win the CWC you have to prove your mettle in the KO stages and the top teams in the world.

Top 4 teams qualify. You have to be pretty s hit not to qualify.
 
Going through is not the issue. Winning the last 3 games is what you need. Forget the rest

Well said,Amla basically said the same thing you cant coward out of playing the best teams if you want to win the WC you will have to kick out the best to get there.

I hope that we come right for the playoffs but I am just not seeing it right now.

We really are looking far off the pace the moment the opposition starts playing some cricket.

The problem with SA is chasing. They have won only 3 games out of 11 when chasing a target of 240 or higher since the last world cup. They have had problems with choking in the past but that's not what's happening now. They aren't good enough when chasing and half decent target.

It's still mathematically possible for us to fail to qualify. Anything can happen in this WC. So don't be too sure.
