Official ICC 2015 CWC thread

this performance today makes me wonder?

has SA been playing really crazy mind games?
imagine for a second QDK is actually in top form to a level that he has more control than possible, and the strategy is to have him be underestimated by the big teams?

now the knockouts roll around, suddenly Dale unleashes the beast, Morkel starts to break 150, JP is getting a hat trick? maybe QDK comes in and makes big runs

and it comes out SA played the way they did to make them be underestimated by the other teams.
we allowed india to outplay us, so when we face them in the final, we have this massive advantage.

imagine if SA applier Game theory to the approach to the tournament, would there be merit to taking the "Injured prey" type approach? look weak then suddenly BOOM, surprise!

I doubt it, because its a massive risk, but it would be cool hey...

never....

Is this the last over before lunch? How many will we get before the break?

10 overs I think someone mentioned earlier. Personally I think it's dumb. Why not just take dinner at the end of the SL innings? I guess there are news broadcasts and other factors that need to be considered, but still. Quite annoying. Still, a good 30 or 40 on the board with no wickets down will go a long way to settling nerves during dinner
