Official ICC 2015 CWC thread

While this troll is mildly amusing at times I fear that if we ( :o yes, yes, I know, me included) continue to feed him that he will ultimately sour success and exacerbate the pain in the event of us losing one of the next two games.

It's on the ignore list now so that non-interaction can neutralise it.

You are a real arrogant prick aren't you. You clearly stated that he hadn't played in the IPL then you try to make up excuses instead of admitting your mistake. Some of your points I agree with sometimes then you come up with crap like this and I see why everyone hates you.
Wow grown ups have the capacity to develop hatred of strangers over mere cricket views that are polar opposites?

Let's go off to Superbru and see if we can all agree that India will beat Bangladesh...

It's a miracle, we all agree!!!

And then 4 of us have picked Pakistan to pull off another fluke and beat Oz.

And lastly, 3 of us have picked West Indies to win against NZ.

What you are doing is waiting for RSA to lose and not win the world cup so you can say "I told you so". It's not clever and it is obvious.
Judging by the reactions, is it not clear to you that after PAK&IND, the guys were waiting for this day? Heck way before the 10th over they were salivating.

FYI, I too was celebrating the Proteas' victory believe it or not. Not everything is as it seems.

Anway SA had ZIM, IRE & UAE in their group. I don't know how on earth Domingo+AB will be able to explain the fact that Phangiso never got a game (while an ailing QdK got 7 on the trott). So failing to win the CWC won't be the only the problem staring at them. From where I'm standing they won't be able to say anything to justify that. I see BlackTwitter has been on that one long before even I bothered myself about it. So you can be sure the press conferences wil be tasty. ;)

Stop farking feeding it!! God man, this thread has become a pile of garbage, can't even celebrate history because everyone is dancing to this troll's tune!

So it's clear where you frequent. No wonder your one sided bias are so frecking obvious.

Just how did Sri Lanka manage to lose?

"As it was, the damage on Wednesday was largely done by the failings of the top six, in particular the careless terminal strokes of Mahela Jayawardene and Angelo Mathews."
Agreed!

Come on, he's the reason why I keep coming to this thread for the lols :D

Don't be silly. Twitter's very relevance/presence in SA is due to Blacks. But that's besides the point. I'm not focusing on race per se even though I'm actually mentioning race. I'm saying even people who don't normally follow the game are aware that certain teams provide no threat and one would expect all fringe players in the squad to at least get a game considering the kind of opposition they face.

Anything will do in your mind as long as it does not require acknowledgment of the excellence in this performance of our team all round.
I think if Dilshan had been out hit-wicket or handling th eball even you guys would've said "it's due to the pressure applied by Abbott"! :D

Fark that, it's the reason why I hardly post here anymore. Because the focus isn't on our team or the world cup, it's on that troll!
"Our" team play boring cricket. Amla is classy but he's gone by the middle over half the time, so the only time there's excitement is when AB gets going. #FACT!

No, be for real for once in your life. You are so frecking obsessed with your race issues in cricket it's not even true.

Another brainless troll comment! Will you never end? I rue the frecking fact that I supported your unbanning, it made you worse and seems to be a bigger .... than initially thought..

I vote for banning again by continued trolling reports!

I beg of you guys to please stop it! I used to love our cricket threads, all the banter, telling McT to get into a meeting when we needed some luck etc. But you've totally ruined what used to be an awesome place to hang out in during a match, by fixing on this ass. Can we please just try for the remaining few matches?

Don't waste time and energy on the ignorant.

This was the most conclusive victory in the history of knock out stage World Cup cricket. Period.

It was a clinical display, destructive in the extreme. Sri Lanka were so totally out of their depth today, totally outplayed in every department except the toss. They won that.

+1 Sandman

Great world cup for us:
-Quickest knockout victory ever.
-Fastest 150 runs.
-First 400 in Australia.
-First back to back 400s in history.
-Best performance by a spinner at world cups.
