lol England lol. That is so lekker to see. Now lets hope they lose the rest of their games in the same fashion, poor babies

Lol! We all have to do things that sometimes we don't want to! I know that in a few minutes, I HAVE to start watching the rugby too. *sigh*

On a cricket note, good to see Dale Steyn is fit again after recovering from his bout of sinusitis. Seems he was carrying that illness into the Zim game which goes a long way in explaining his lacklustre performance.

Congrats to NZ as well. Crikey, they're playing some phenomenal cricket! I hope for their sake (but obviously not for ours) that they're not peaking too soon.
 
That was the most destructive display I've ever seen!!

Possibly the best spell of bowling EVER, from Southee!! Unplayable!!

And then Brendon's blitzkrieg!!! UNBELIEVABLE!!!!

NZ cruising!! I do believe they've peaked too soon and I also believe they have a penchant for collapsing given the right set of circumstances! Look how they battled against Zim in the warm up and Scotland!

It's going to take a very good side to beat them though but I honestly believe we will see them play their best cricket in the pool stages.

EDIT: England 0 from 2 and I don't see them making the playoffs! Their net run rate is shocking! I think SL will pip them.

Yeah, sorry, England still likely to make it, my bad. Difficult not to make the playoffs when it's top 4 from each pool so:

Pool A:
NZ
OZ
SL
Eng?/Bangladesh?

Pool B:
SA
India
Pakistan
Zim?/WI?/Ireland?
 
MY QUARTER FINALS

Australia vs West Indies
New Zealand vs Pakistan
Sri lanka vs India
England vs South Africa.
 
I'm hoping Zim and Bangladesh spring a surprise in their respective groups and make the quarters.

And then after that, the Big 3 need to be embarrassed soonest...India, England and Aus need to go.

My bad - had the teams in the two groups confused :o.

England are actually seeded 1 for this tournament, and NZ 9 :wtf:.

England may have to win 3 out of the remaining 4 to come in at 4th, with Bangladesh most likely to pick up another point tomorrow.
