The reason the Black Caps are developing a habit of knocking us out of World Cups is because they are so mentally strong.

They were actually choking, they were in a very strong position needing like 50 runs with 6 wickets remaining and I thought to myself this is definitely an NZ win so I switched the TV off and walked away disappointed.

They may have won but they definitely choked there at the end.

Didn't sleep last night. So took a nap in the bathroom during lunch. Woke up and felt like crying myself to sleep.

Lol see below,he is actually lucky he isn't here because he was pushing for Big Vern to play even though he didn't have much game time and just got back from an injury.ZCFOutkast has been proven wrong, conclusively.

:D

As an aside, his big saviour, Big Vern (and don't get me wrong, I love the guy, Big Vern I mean), turned out to be 'le big flop'

+1

I feel physically drained ( having woken up at 1am), emotionally drained ( the loss and rollercoaster), and mentally fatigued....

Glad I'm not the only one although I got up at 3:30am ,I was so tired I switched of the TV when NZ needed 50 runs still,I already knew it was over then and I couldn't take it anymore.

I guess waking up that early isn't for me.:(I need to get home and hit the sack.

Point is they skied the ball as many times as we dropped it.

Yes, they were skying it because they were nervous, and we dropped some because of nerves etc.
So both sides had nerves.

In the 1st innings, it was NZ who were missing chances and our guys having some luck.

Can't say I'm not disappointed :(.

We let the nerves get to us and didn't take our chances in the final 10 overs.

The rain played a role in our innings, but there's not much we can do about that.

Nah there's a lot of positives to take out of it.We've made massive strides in this world cup, and achieved more than any other Proteas outfit before us. We finally developed that fighting instinct and hatred of losing. If AB and co. are still around for the next cup, it's going to be ours.

Oh, and get rid of the dead weight like Behaardien...

I'm feeling so fcking depressed right now....

Yeah.

I'm just feeling sorry for the players. AB has carried us for a while now, and then he makes a booboo today, and you can rest assured the media and the public will grill him for it.

Lets forget this as quickly as possible and move on.

Get rid of Donald. He's presence reminds us of of why we get oh so tantalisingly close every 4 years without reaching the final. Bring in Vinnege Fanie as coach ffs.

Proteas are like the proverbial virgin who never gets laid.
