350 was never on the cards because India started slowly.

Dhoni did a solid job scoring a quickfire 18 off 11 and then got out in the 49th over.

Dont see his dismissal as a positive.

Sorry. A bit grumpy, especially because so many people seem to come up with excuses and not accept that the Proteas one day side is in serious trouble. Before we can fix the side people need to admit that we have a problem. The reaction after we struggled against Zim was pretty much to ignore how poorly we played.

What's happening right now is preciswly why I say we are not favourites or an ODI giant. We all have our fingers crossed that AB doesn't get out, and are edgy with him mi****ting so much. Australia on the other hand - Finch, Warner, Watson, Smith, Clarke/Bailey, Maxwell, MMarsh Faulker! We're nothing in comparison. It was with good reason that IT said were a lesser side than India in ODIs(&T20s). If we lose it won't be an upset.
 
Well there's a scary stat:

No team has ever scored 300 batting second at the mcg
 
No side has ever scored over 300 batting 2nd at the MCG!! We may as well declare now and go back to the hotel.

I would assume that's in a large part because they would have been playing Aus who are not exactly the easiest team to score 300 against. If Aus had batted second then they would have been unlikely to be chasing 300.

If that would see Tsotsobe and the other tiny little firecracker black dude (Whose name I can't remember right now.) out there instead of this bunch then I might not object.

It would beat this bunch who seem completely blasé about the fact that they are representing their country.
 
This is as close as damn it to the best available 15 SA has. Don't kid yourself thinking we've got much better sitting at home watching it on tv. Just take a look at SA A's hiding to England A in the home series recently. If we being brutally honest we will admit that domestically the standard of our game is below par.
