Official ICC 2015 CWC thread

So AB had some stomach issues last night... with an injection in the morning.

Sounds like this is the way forward.... for the rest of the WC at least

Funniest of this all which he seems to miss. He made his predictions of WI annihilating SA with the CURRENT SQUAD in mind. Now they lost and he's crying but they weren't at full strength... bleh bleh bleh.

Hehe nah I wouldn't count the MyGaming one as part of MyBroadband. I should have joined the other MyBB pool too. Actually I remember when they were all set up. I think I may have ran out of pools to join.

You both miss the point. Mickey said they're rubbish and I'm responding to that, not the consequences of the results of today's game.

They gave us a pasting in the T20s, and world cricket had lots of bad things to say about the Proteas remember. Same thing is happening here.

Zim gave us a hard time, Windies thumped Pak, and ZIM, and SA were on the backfoot against us, with many saying WI stood a chance. Rubbish never stands chance, so they're not rubbish!

Just follow th ecomments of our own players, the very best of the squad. They had concerns. so dtop overrreacting.

9.15 pm Could that game have gone more according to plan for South Africa? Good camaraderie from both teams as they shake hands. Hashim Amla and Faf du Plessis weathered a sluggish pitch and some very disciplined West Indies bowling. Then Rilee Rossouw injected momentum with some impressively calculated ball-striking. Made a case for himself to be a permanent man in the XI. Then AB de Villiers simply thumped them. He ran like mad, he hit like a man possessed and he just defied description once he got going. Almost made the bowling not matter, but Kyle Abbott did his team a huge favour by removing Chris Gayle for 3 and then Marlon Samuels for 0. Even Jason Holder's fifty - although an impressive innings by its own - mattered very little in the context of the match. West Indies can only push this match as far away out of mind as possible and come back. South Africa have regained every ounce of momentum that makes them such strong favourites
