Just watched the highlights of the England innings and was staggered at how Southee bowled. Had to laugh when I saw 4 slips to Stephen Finn. Test match stuff! :D

Scary. Catch them on the wrong day (they get the best of the conditions) and I can't see them losing unless they choke.

Yoh its difficult, Windies should win, and after their shock loss, they should bounce back, but they are so k@k at the moment, I cant see Zim losing, or rather Windies winning.
SA vs india, Yeah I dont know, I gave it to India but very marginally, of course i wish SA wins, but my gut tells me India will pull this through.

I can't go against sa so early in the tournament, difficult pick though.

Zim vs Ireland is the other tester, reconsidering my pick there

But that's ok Lament the more the merrier :D. I think Sharma, Kohli, Raina&Dhoni makes India too good for us. We have just AB&Amla to compete with four World Class ODI batsmen. JP&Faf are more at Dhawan's level to be honest. On his day Jadeja can be a Miller, plus he's a top bowler. We're weaker than India so a loss to them wouldn't be an upset in my view, but India losing to us would be.

Indian supprt will be stacked heavily against us so they'll be up for it. Plus they are the only side capable of thoroughly embarassing everyone with their batting alone if they click, so the only way we'll win is through our bowlers not our batsmen. At this rate, Philander alone won't be able to do it (since Steyn&Morkel are rather toothless, while Tahir will be spanked badly). I expect 25+ overs of quality spin from India, which means 270 plus for us would be a miracle. We need 340+ to be safe.

To be fair I think India will show us exactly why Tsotsobe should've been, not just part of the squad but in the XI.

I hope Domingo & Co come up with a surprise tactic and open with Philander&Parnell.

I don't think the conditions will decide the AB's decision at the toss. The confidence of the side will. So I'll be watching that closely in case he gets the toss. I have a feelign we might very well lose the game right there and there.

For some reason I feel more comfortable with us chasing. We have set quite a few very high targets in the recent past but if we dont bat well batting first (as in get 275+) I dont have confidence in us defending especially if the bowling starts off badly. It seems like of late we go at bowling changes without any plan. I do back SA to win though.
On the other hand India is good at setting big targets too...

Boet a weaker below par Australia spanked the Proteas more heavily in my view leading to that dagga fueled rant from a deluded AB - "We're better than them". Suka! (That's paliamentary by the way so the mods shouldn't go all WCSOPA on me)
 
2 loud appeals from Pakistan early on but nothing they prepared to refer. I have a bit of a moral dilemma with that.
