The fun part about SuperBru is that you don;t have to put your moneey where your mouth is. 11 games have been played, I made 11 money bets, won 8, lost two (both involving WI so I'll avoid them next time :D) and I should be getting a refund on this one. I'd like to think I should easily be in the top 2/3 if my money bets were my SuperBru picks! ;)

Yeah they're trying to outdo each other. But WI are definitely the new Pakistan. Totally unpredictable. I said some time back that if it was PAK who played like WI during their tour here recently, fixing calls would've been plenty. Guys just didn;t want to take away from our performances but a lot was suspiious. So I'm not surprised that certain sections are quick to say the same about PAK now.

Personally I think they have to look at Chris Gayle closely. No player in World cricket has it as easy as him. He's the most sought after batsmen in the Twenty20 leagues. The WICB literally give him a chance to reject their contract everytime and play on his terms. He's made a lot of money but he's also squandered a lot. Partying is taking its toll in his body considering his age. Cricket is still a pro sport at the level he's playing and you have to train&practice hard, which I doubt he's doing or has the appettite to. So I have a very strong feeling he's fixing. I think he's been fixing since the games they played in the States.

I'd be inclined to play Parnell instead of Tahir against India. Indians are comfortable against spin, not so much the quick stuff... That Wayne is a better batsman is an added advantage but not necessarily why one would pick him ahead of Imran.
 
I agree - spin against India makes no sense unless the pitch supports it in the extreme.

No he must play (and bowl 20 overs with JP&Farhaan). South Africa beat Zimbabwe purely because of him, and he should've been the MoM.

If he comes right then that's a good sign for our CWC chances. If he doesn't then Phangiso must get a chance next match. Parnell must replace Morkel, and maybe Riley to replace QdK. I think his power will add more value from 5 than QdK opening.

Disagree you pick your best team. Sri lanka and pakistan also plays spin well and Tahir has done well against them.
