Wallabies coach Michael Cheika has picked three debutants in his starting XV for the first Test against England in Brisbane - but Karmichael Hunt will have to wait for a Test debut after missing out on selection.

Towering Brumbies second-rower Rory Arnold, Queensland Reds centre Samu Kerevi and Western Force utility back Dane Haylett-Petty have been named in the Wallabies starting side, while back-up halfback Nick Frisby will also earn a maiden Test cap off the bench.

Nick Frisby though?

Aussies must be really struggling with their halfbacks...
 
Yeah, I was also a bit surprised by Frisby. But he's got some experience, 50+ caps in SR. And the other halfbacks are all quite inexperienced and young.

Maybe Stirzaker, but then I'd rather take Frisby for his versatility.

Very happy for Kerevi, though! Really deserve his shot.

Pretty decent looking team. Hope our front row can stand up on the day ...... still feel for Whitely especially considering that 2 guys just hopped in from Europe ahead of him. I hope he gets more than a 10min run on role.
