Official Kaizer Chiefs Supporters Thread

Did you watch Pitso's post-match interview . Eish.:)

I've given up on him, the guy will complain about the referee and still say " but i am not complaing", I thought in time he will grow out of it but it does not look likely after so many years as a coach.

Honestly, Chief's played like amateur on Saturday against Pirates at the derby, honestly. I was utterly disgusted with their performance, and that idiot of a coach, he clearly had no strategy just looking for a draw. Pirates had wrapped us around their pinky man.

Eish, painful. We've drawn games that we could have easily won, hence we could not afford anynmore losses.

After just one game? Or did they play another game after the Wits one?

Edit: I see the overpaid perpetual under performers drew with Baroka.

In the league they've played 3, lost 1, drew 2. But won their MTN 8 fixture 4 days back.

Things ain't going well recently this days Makhosi

As long as Pirates are losing everything's cool, just wait until Pirates start winning and you'll see how the peace loving Amakhosi fans lose their collective ***t and demand the coach's head, while forgetting it is his first year and he is still building a team. Just take a look at Wits, Hunt is on a roll after struggling last season, Steve has made it out of 3 out of 3 with Pirates today, sometimes I think our supporters are the one who are holding the development of football back in our country, how are youngsters supposed to be blended in if supporters are demanding immediate results?

It isn't that he's being expected to perform miracles it is that nothing has changed from Steve. The players look just as uncommitted as before. The problem isn't coaching it's the lazy ass players

Fact is Steve was not the problem but Bobby and Kaizer are, look Chiefs no longer compete for the best players...

Maybe I am old fashioned but what is up with these guys passing the ball to each other with no one interested in shooting to wars goal? I watched Ramagela yesterday and I wonder what happened to that type of striker who will beat a defender and with just inches of space take a shot at goal. I can't even remember when last Chiefs scored from a long range shot at goal while teams are scoring such goals against us all the time.

It becomes a little bit complicated because Chiefs won the league two times with Baxter and it's not like we had the best players in the league, I remember our goals were coming from everyone, from strikers to Mathoho and Mashamaite, I am leaning towards players who aren't inspired enough. The attacking play of the new coach gives me hope though.

I suspect they probably do all those things in training but something afflicts them in competitive matches

There is a lack of quality strikers in SA and has been so for about the last 10 years, check the stats of the PSL, top scorers go up to 11 goals per season.
