What happened with Khuzwayo? I'd stopped watching them and when I got back I see he's been replaced. I remember an injury but that was some time back.

He left for Pirates but was forced into early retirement by persistent knee injury.
 
The thread is awake? Welcome back, number 1 in the league and Nurkovic is the new league top scorer, fantastic.

This season is different and I will be very surprised if we don't win the league, the method is simple, win the games you are supposed to win and leave everything else to chance, we are doing exactly that this season.

Seems to be working well so far but I'm worried about depth in certain roles. Goalkeeper is a hit or miss and our defence seem a little porous at times. Yes, this can be attributed to the high line we're playing but it takes a while to recover.

And congrats to Sundowns
 
Saw the videos. Dude was irresponsible but I suspect most people are doing that. As for suspension, probably just for show after the videos leaked. It's a family business no way they actually censure him meaningfully

Yeah, it's still a long way but we have not beaten Polokwane City since 2018, this must be a good omen and a confidence booster.

Middendorp is a clueless coach though and he must be thanked for his efforts and let go at the end of the season whichever way it goes.

We also need to take care of bloem celtic and put some pressure on sundowns. The sooner it is won the happier I'll be!
 
And so it comes down to the last game of the season. And it may still come down to goal difference. At least we're in Pole position, but our goal scoring form is horrible.

Yeah this should have been wrapped up games ago. But no. They gotta make heavy weather of it. Downs should also have taken it by now if they weren't stumbling just as badly. Don't think they can overturn a 7 goal difference. But chiefs are capable of messing this up by drawing or losing the last game.

It was 7, but losing to sundowns by a goal, and then them scoring 2 more than us last night... so now it is 3. We had a lot of shots on goal against sundowns, but couldn't score. If we could have drawn that one at least, it would have pretty much been sown up by now. Just that one game!
 
One thing is clear, Middendorp is just not good enough.

One thing I have noticed is how afraid the players are to take shots at goal, Parker in particular will do anything not to shoot at goal, the players even look like they are even capable of taking long range shots anymore because on the rare occasion that they do it's always wayward shots.

If they win the title then I'm willing to forgive him ... we haven't been close to the title in years!
