I am happy, Hunt let the team down but most importantly and he should really reflect on this, he let himself down, he failed to rise above his dislike of certain players even though this was to the detriment of the team. Going into the second leg against Simba, and failing, dismally to defend a four goal lead must have been the final straw.
Well done to the team management for taking this decisive action, he was being given too much benefit for no reason, Komphela had a much worse squad than him yet he was able to perform and finish in a respectable position.

Great win. Not at all a Chiefs fan but my national pride took over and I’m glad they won. One thing I hate is these Northern African teams always diving and harassing referees. It was an embarrassing display of sportsmanship by Wyad. As a result, the referee was a bit too generous with the whistle.

It's going to be epic, history tells us that Ahl Ahly should easily brush Chiefs off but they have had a few upsets going towards the finals, that would be at the back of Pitso's mind, the confusing game being played by Chiefs would also concerning, they have failed to defend properly in the local league but seems to be excellent in CAF.
