"Official" Man City Supporters Thread

RE: Man City
Lets hope they turn out to be just another West ham...Remember them signing tevez and mascherano a few seasons back:)Lol

Check the Forbes list they publish every year of the richest football clubs. The club with the most debt is Manchester as when the Galsiers purchased the club they took out a loan against Manchester united, clever but it means manchester united is paying off their debt.

The club isnt in debt, the club itself owes nothing, If he sold the club to a new owner, the new owner would have no debt to repay.
They are worth 764mil and have 0% debt

Also year on year they are bleeding losses, so they are by no means a profitable operation.

read the ARTICLE, they are in debt, just not to any banks.

These loans do appear on their Balance sheets, so they do have debt, just nto with a financial institution, but with their sugar daddy.

that is why they emphasised what appears below.

However, there is no doubt that the club remains wholly reliant on Abramovich's continued funding. Chelsea's chairman, Bruce Buck, has stressed that Abramovich "loves football" and will not "walk away" from Chelsea.

If the owner's enthusiasm were ever to wane, and Abramovich decided he did want his loan back, the accounts show that Chelsea would have 18 months to find the money.

Yes, you are correct about Manu as well, the Glazers enjoy all of the benefits with none of the associated risks, unlike Gillett an Hicks at Liverpool.

Ag no!!!!.

I don't believe it.

No worries, it will soon fade down into page 23 of the forum just like the Spurs one will do.

*sigh*

It was so nice to see Genius. and Supa's comments again. Good times!

ya and they have DEPTH in the striking department... now I wonder what will happen when Ireland, Barry gets injured...

Tevez is looking potent lately. Must be Mancini's influence. in last nights game he was all over the place.

looks like City is going for the pacy option... Bellamy and Tevez

shame that means no space for Santa Cruz, Emmanuel Adebayor and Robinho

I wonder why they don't play Robinho behind the strikers, that dude's vision for through passes is sublime.

ye but he's gona lazy.. wonder if it's a brazilian thing... play well for 1-2 season then become fat and sloppy... look at Ronaldo, Ronaldinho, Adriano, Robinho...

could it be all the o's?
