The question of backroom staff would probably depend on whos the new manager, i know someone like Klopp wouldnt come without his own staff.

Not that i think Klopp will come but saying and doing are two completely different things that often don't occur in football.

This myth needs to be put to bed. Seriously. Even the Telegraph mentioned it when pointing out the ''Five things Moyes got wrong''.

Moyes did not fire Rene. He offered Rene the assistant manager's position but Rene rejected it because Moyes wanted to take charge of first-team coaching, which was Rene's role under Fergie.

What are your thoughts on Carlos Queiroz taking over as manager? South Africans don't have the best perceptions of him but Ferguson loved the oke, for a long time he was his right hand man. He was at United over one of our best periods and is credited with transforming our tactics at the time. He knows the United way, he will be available after the World Cup. Maybe?

I don't think Van Gaal is the answer, let Spurs have him. Klopp and Simeone would be at the top of most wish lists I think. There is Frank de Boer, but he is a bit unproven.

Queiroz is a great coach, but a terrible manager. He's every good at providing technical insight, but not good at running the show. Under Fergie he fulfilled the Rene Meulensteen roll, but with a little more power, such as changing the formation and coaching the players, but Fergie ultimately signed-off on all the decisions.

Klopp and only Klopp. Van Gaal will come in, last 3 seasons and likely end up alienating players and coming to blows with the press and board, as he has always done in the past. Van Gaal reminds me of Mourinho, successful short-term but starts burning bridges when he stays around for too long.

I am all for Giving moyes more time...but imo looks like he doesnt have the support of the players,and his subs choices my fudgen word...
how can he play Nani in such a important game when he has no game time whatsoever and Evans who has been injured for so long

Admittedly there is confusion over exactly what happened. I.e. from the Telegraph today:

Yep, The Telegraph itself is confused;

David Moyes offered Meulensteen the role of assistant manager – a promotion from his previous position – but with the Dutchman aware of Moyes’s hands-on approach on the training field, he rejected the offer due to concerns that his coaching duties would be reduced under the new regime.
