Nani an Anderson are both hopeless!

Nani much more than Anderson.

How long has Nani been at the club?

And you using one game as evidence of his ability?

Cantera you obviously don't know anything about what SAF is doing with Anderson

Anderson is naturally an attacking midfielder. SAF plays in deeper now so he can develop another part of his game...hence we don't see what Anderson did at Porto...

:D

Iirc, Casiraghi scored a hattrick against United in one of his 5 or so games for Chelsea back in the day. I reckon he just "lost" confidence after that hey...

He is not really learning anything. Mikel is a case in point. Brilliant in attack, weak in defence (at least he is stronger than Anderson) and he still hasn't been able to get to grips with the position. You can't take a Scholes and make him into a good tackler no matter how many times you tell him to be a little light in the tackle!

what you smoking? Scholes is the BEST TACKLER IN THE WORLD! :p

Anderson is a hopeless ATTACKING midfielder. It doesnt matter how SAF plays him - he will stay the same.

Remember Anderson and Nani was branded as the future stars of United.

Nani should give up football all together and Anderson is like a headless chicken on the pitch. His attacking talents are non existant.

This is in fact the only thing I agree with Genius about - both are useless.

thats why only when Hargreaves + Anderson started games in the 07 season we did not lose one game :)

anyway...i think Anderson is a star...he is 21 and has a lot left to offer us.

When Hargreaves is back in a week or two...Anderson will be free to do what he does best! You will see.

Anderson has had every opportunity to make it big at United.

He has failed to live up to the hype.

Even if he is as free as a bird to do whatever he wants on the pitch, he will still run around like a headless chicken.

Nah I think yuo got the two mixed up... Anderson has the ability but it's not realised due to the fact that he's playing as a DM... Nani on the other hand, he's playing where he should be but can't cross, can't dribble, shouldn't play soccer...

So he'll be good for all of 3 games then?

Anderson is a talent. I've seen that boy control games from the deep. Yes, sometimes he comes on and does sweet *****all, but no player can have a good game every time he plays, and you have to remember, he is still young.

As for Nani, when he came to United, he also showed tremendous promise. United fans will know what I'm talking about when I say remember United 4 - 0 Arsenal. Nani assisted for two goals as well as scoring a lovely one himself, running Eboue and Gallas ragged the entire match. Unfortunately, he seems to have lost his path, hopefully he finds his form soon.

Youth didn't stop Fabregas, Messi, Aguero, Beckham etc etc etc. He's rubbish - end of story.

Exceptions to the rule.

Nah ah. The way everyone is going on about the boy, he's supposed to be the Messiah. I don't see it in any of his play. Sure he has good games, then again so did Chris Sutton. Hell - Sutton had a great season when he struck up a great partnership with Shearer but did piss all after that.

Nope. We're arguing whether he's a good player, not a great one. And I don't recall anyone calling Anderson the messiah or anything like it

Well, the trumpeting done by United and their fans when he was signed... I was thinking a slightly less pasty Scholes had arrived. Scholes wasn't exactly a geriatric when he started putting in awesome performances for United (iirc mind)...

Google is your friend. Scholes was 20 when he started playing for United. Also, Scholes didn't start playing where he plays now, he was an attacking mid, but more predominantly a striker.
