i'm happy Fergie is using Rafael as right back!! this guy is going to be the next best right back in the world! awesome talent...thanks fergie ... gary neville's days as the best right back in the EPL are over.

Erm, there are six minutes added on due to substitutions plus the age it took after we equalised to get the game restarted. Or is that not what you mean?

Yes, it's exactly what I'm talking about.

All I'm saying is he complained about the 5 minutes not being enough and then erm.....the very next game he gets 6 minutes. Genius.

Weird. Do you not know what the time added on is actually for? For me, the 5 mins after the Leeds game was correct - He never actually came out and clarified what he meant by his post-match complaint that day..

But yesterday, the six mins was down to all the substitutions and the long stoppage after the equaliser. Not sure what the fuss is about...
 
Anyone noticed Valencia playing on the left towards the end of the game yesterday. He combined well with Evra.

Maybe SAF knows that Nani will only shine on the right and when he returns from injury maybe he will play there.

Hope Nani never returns. The only problem last night was playing 4-5-1 for almost the entire game. I cannot understand why Fergie does not see this. Ever.

I wish I could have the stats for our performances playing 4-5-1 vs those playing 4-4-2. I would imagine that the 4-5-1 ones are particularly poor.
 
We play 4-5-1 in all our away matches...

against chelsea and west ham as well. we only play 4-4-2 at home this season...

we also play 4-5-1 in Europe so we can break on the counter..
problem with 4-5-1 is no longer have a Ronaldo to break fast with Rooney!

I was under the distinct impression that he was a left sided player by nature... don't see how placing him on the right would do much good. Then again - Moving Viera into midfield was funny choice and look how that turned out!

fergie did that so he can cut in then shot with his right foot..the only problem is that the service we get from Nani is pathethic hence all the critism.

Play him on the right , he plays on the right for Portugal and did wonders during the play-offs for the world cup. 2 assists if im not mistaken and tore the fullbacks bum in half :D

Man are we missing some creativity or what. Scholsey really needs to play less. Have him and Carrick in the side is like having mirror MF's: why have two players passing to the side and back

Ag, come on. Every United supporter was saying that Nani and Anderson were the next best thing.

They have simply failed to live up to expectation.

Yes thats true, but only Nani was dubbed "another/next Ronaldo" not Anderson..and yes they have not lived up to the hype

Yes, Nani, not Anderson, was definitely billed as the next Ronaldo. Anderson is currently being billed as the next Lucas.
