Liverpool guys will like him alot cause their glory days were over before the television came out....:D

No complaints from this side big boy, I apologised already and it looks like Randhir accepted it.

I read his banter as malicious and as a perenial sticker upper for the under dogs and little guys, I waded in. Think of that what you will, I'm not apologising again.

My mother was an Irish migrant worker, that worked as the tea lady at Highbury. During the 1975/1976 season she had a 5-some involving Pat Rice, Frank Stapleton, Pat Jennings and David O’Leary. He picked up the ball and took the corner. He found Alan Sunderland who headed in to take the game.

When George took over I started going to school. I remember George doing my homework while I worked out strategies for him. During those years George and I won the League twice and put 1 FA Cup, 2 League Cups and a UEFA Cup Winners Cup in the Cabinet. My school work suffered a bit though.

In 1995 when Wenger took over I came to South Africa to study. Anyway, that in a nutshell is why I support The Arsenal.

I believed EVERY word of that until I realised (I think) that Pat Rice and possibly Davis O'Leary weren't playing for Arsenal at that time. Perhaps.

I didnt ask for an apology - I also wanted to wade in with my 2c :)

You speak very nicely and do make sense (makes for a good read) so feel free to post in other threads or i will start thinking that you are here with an agenda and My reaction (which was reactionary) was to you sticking up for a certain poster who you will get to know better the longer you here ;)

I should understand you sticking up for Liverpool because as you said "you are a perenial sticker upper for the under dogs and little guys:....:D:D

Just because they might not be playing for a club doesn't mean they're incapable of having an orgy together :D

Yeah, but Cleverly will be able to run around our midfield. At least with Scholes, Essien has a chance of nipping his heels.

I've lived there a few times , but really from about 89 to 95 with some travelling in between.

Chelsea were on the rise i guess from about the time of Hoddle, but they have always been the big club in West London and although I went to see them a few times, I just didn't enjoy the atmosphere so much. But you are right about being fashionable, they still never had Gullitt or Zola etc, so they were plodding along hoping for the good times to start.

In fact, I saw them beat Liverpool 1-0 once, must have been about 93, and it was like they had won the league they were so unused to it :D

I remember a feeling like that. We beat United 5-0. Sutton got a hattrick. Did **** all the rest of the season though :/
