Biggest ever away win in the CL.

Best game of the season by far. I can't fault a single player tonight. Everyone stepped up and played brilliantly.

Granted Leverkusen were atrocious but this is the most positive I have seen us play in ages. Good to see Nani get 90min and a great goal. Giggs motm and Kagawa had a good game too...Valencia was immense. .. well played. On to the spuds

Our biggest away win in the champions league ever, well done Moyes :)

Like I said Jones is the player we missing! (not Carrick). Jones does alot of work in MF and having (even) Giggs next to him paid off as Giggs can put in some leg work and has some great vision with passing. Can only imagine a Modric, Herrera, Fabregas or even Ozil with Jones in the middle.

I wouldnt mind seeing Ando play with Jones actually - Cleverly did well with Jones but Ando has more pace, better passing and is more direct.

Kagawa and Rooney did so well - If only they could with RvP on the pitch. Pity when Rvp is playing, Rooney drops into positions Kagawa takes up and that causes issues.

Still the man love for Ando... if he was that good and not in the starting XI he should be dominating in the reserves...

Yes because dominating the reserves gets you a first team place - just ask Pogba

Except Pogba wasn't dominating the reserves. He was training poorly and was indifferent in a lot of matches that season.

And even then, he still dominated your reserve team. Such a shame that his attitude forced him out.

He didn't. Januzaj, The Keanes and one or two others were all making as decent headway in terms of training/performance as Pogba was. Pogba was rated higher than most because of his ability and previous hype, especially regarding the way he was brought in.

But yes, shame about the attitude.

Ah, yes, the Keanes. How's Will Keane doing? Haven't heard much on him in a while.

Not sure why both him and Morrison felt that they needed to seek opportunities elsewhere? They were at a massive club, with an immense support structure and the winning mentality that few teams can foster into a player. Yet they chose the benches of Juventus (which has now worked out for Pogba) and West Ham instead. Just a real shame, they would have added so much more than the likes of Cleverley.

Keane doing well and scoring regularly on loan, seems he is quite key in Wigan's plans :-). Morrison also doing really well at west ham and England u21 - i think his attitude was worse off (compared to pogba) and the move to west ham has made him calm down.

What happened to Cleverley though, he was so good last season and now he plays often he is rather underwhelming. Did we all just drink the kool-aid?

He'll be joining Wigan on loan In January I think. Still not 100% after the knee injury.

Morisson was an entirely different story. SAF gave him chance after chance to sort out his behavior, he spurned them all. I think in part what made him have the attitude was the fact that he was a rising star at such a big club. I think his attitude change is partly because he has had to contend with a drop in club status, and has given him a bit of a reality check.

With Pogba, I think he was assured of appearances for Juventus when he signed the deal. So he never really chose the bench at Juve.

As for Cleverly, he was a fantastic talent, and he has shown glimpses of that, but far too rarely. I'm not sure exactly what has hindered that progress. Might have been that injury against Bolton, but he has been a shadow since coming back.
