Maybe he still has the mindset that he is managing Everton, rather than the defending league champions?

Maybe he does but i dont think these recent comments can be used as evidence of that. I think when he said something along the lines of "we will make it as hard as possible for Newcastle" at home, then hes displaying this small club mentality.

I dont like Moyes but i think you're getting upset about nothing. Also i think you're reading his statement wrong, at no point does he say we are outmatched. Watch the full conference and then see what you think. Lets rather see how we perform on the weekend and then if its poor, we can criticise him for meaningful things like performace, team selection or tactics.

Hmm. Watching the video, it doesn't look so bad. Thats what i get for taking givemesport articles at face value. They have a bad habit of quoting out of context and blowing headlines out of proportion

I've seen one article where Cleverly stated "Spanish players don't get as much stick as me for passing sideways" or something to that effect. The givemesport headline was "Cleverly: My Spanish style does not suit the Premier League":D

Moyes the tactical genius, is playing Rooney far too forward.
 
This is my problem. Moyes sitting there completely clueless. Fergie would be down on the touch line giving the players direction.

We not playing too badly but these penalties are killing us. Very poor.
