Mancs must understand they cannot afford 20+ mil players anymore. only Chelsea and Man City have the buying power
 
Bale to United is possibly the best move upwards that he can make. He fits into their system perfectly, what with this one dimensional, if exceedingly effective style of play. And given the downturn of United's wide options, and I wouldn't be surprised to see him in the number 7 come August...

My bets for United transfers:

IN
  • Bale
  • Baines
  • Diame (because both Fellaini and Baines would be too much)

OUT
  • Nani and Anderson (if AVB is smart, he will take them as part of any Bale deal)
  • Rooney (flog him back to Everton I say)
  • Evra

Don't see much else movement really. But this is my hopeful list of transfers for you guys- transfers that I feel will make you far stronger and balanced across all areas.

and after this you will tell me ronaldo was at his peak at united

Bale is good ..but i still feel he needs to fit into a trophy winning team and see how he performs

He is strong, good with the ball at his feet. Carries the ball well, can shoot from outside the box. Very good tackler as well.

I know its a Youtube video but I've watched him plenty of times and this is a good representation of how he plays:

He's 28 and in the prime of his career. He is arguably also one of the best attacking fullbacks in the world right now and equally accomplished on defense. I'd take him in place of Evra in a heartbeat and he should be England's first choice over Cole.

SAF gew ronaldo from nothing and he saw talent he took him ...

he grew even more at madrid

so thats why if SAF was at united and bale came he would have improved alot more

not that i dont trust moyes ...but moyes doesnt have that experience like SAF did

While I have my doubts about Moyes when it comes to championship and cup runs, I do not doubt his ability to develop players.

Phil Jagielka, Marouane Fellaini and Leighton Baines are who they are because of his ability to develop a player. Yes, Baines and Jagielka are not mentioned among the best (which is sad in Baines' case), but they are a couple of damn good players. Chelsea wanted Jagielka but had to take Gary Cahill when Moyes turned their offer down.

Even as a Chelsea fan, I can agree. Have not seen a fullback influence the way a team plays in such a huge way as Baines does for Everton. Not even the likes of Lahm are as influential, but it will be very interesting to see Baines in a stronger setup.
