hmmm between Thiago, Stootmen, Kagawa United will be another force in the CL!
 
Thiago is a solid rumor , not just the press looking to sell papers. Strootman not so much.

What makes you say that? I havent seen any amazing performances from Strootman this season that would make me think that, admittedly i don't watch much Eredivisie.

And his attitude in general. He held the club to ransom not too long ago and cited lack of ambition as the reason. The club stepped it up and he fell down the pecking order.

He doesn't seem interested in keeping himself in top shape. Kicks up a fuss when his subbed. As Ferguson said, an in form Wayne Rooney does not get taken off.

The passion that made Wayne Rooney one of my favourites in his earlier years at the club isn't that visible anymore.
He still shows his brilliance but is as erratic as he was when he was younger.
I would expect him to be showing some consistency now.

His wages could fund two top class players, now that Rooney is no longer the heartbeat of the club, it is the right time for the club to cash in and move on.

Sure keeping him wouldn't be disasterous as he would put in a good shift. It is all up to Moyes though and how he intends to use him and whether Rooney is 100% on board. He is still a well rounded striker and links up well with Rvp.
On the other hand Kagawa could fill the void between the midfield and striker. The club now have options, Rooney doesn't hold all the cards this time. His sale can fund some re-inforcements. I think he should be sold, but only if it is abroad. At a rival club he would come back to haunt us.

I'm wasn't commenting on his performance, but his attitude. Second time he made it clear he doesn't want to be at the club, after all the backing he got. I won't be surprised if he gets booed at OT.

I'd rather let this ass go, he's hindering Kagawa's development in any case.

Definitely, and I reckon Moyes will follow in SAF's footsteps here. Rooney will not be sold to a direct rival, and most other clubs won't be able to afford him. He knows most other clubs in England are a step down, and not many clubs abroad want him.
 
I think now is a good as anytime to offload Rooney but only if United have an excellent replacement lined up for him like Lewandowski. I think this week will be interesting in terms of transfers though, should get a really good idea if someone like Thiago will be joining.

Oh ok, I see.

I'd rather watch Kagawa play any day over Rooney. Shinji is one of my favourite players.

Rooney can go we have RVP, Hernandez, Welbeck, Macheda, Nick Powell - more that enough strikers...

Rooney said 2 season ago that he'll prove to the fans that his here to stay now he wants to leave again, he can piss off - provided we get +- 40 to 50 million for him. Kagawa is a perfect replacement for him as playmaker

Macheda, seriously? Nick Powell isnt a striker and still very raw who knows how he will turn out. We will really only have RVP and Hernandez , Welbeck cant be trusted to score us goals.

We will never get 40 - 50 million for Rooney , will be lucky if we get more than 30 but more likely to get around 25.

I'd rather have them - who want to play for United than Rooney - whose form has dipped last season - plus getting fatter by the day with greed and looks :p
