This right here is my problem with Moyes:

City are 2-0 up yet Pellegrini is still on the touchline giving his players orders and telling them what to do.

United are 2-0 down and Moyes is rooted to his seat, not saying a word, hiding away like a coward because plan A hasn't worked and he had no plan B. He is clueless.
 
I think the part that speaks volumes of this whole situation is that Everton are likely to be 9 points ahead of us.
 
I have been on Moyes side for a while but since Olympiakos I've started to lose faith in him. The first half of the season I could forgive but I expected more after Christmas. There doesn't seem to be a shape, a clear direction of what type of soccer is trying to be played. There is nothing happening in the final third, no one making runs, I don't remember the last time I saw a half decent through ball on goal for us. I'm starting to think that Moyes brand of football is good for 6th or 7th, 5th in a good seasons but I don't think his style supports winning football. And at the end of the day United have always played to try win games, not to try and not lose. Mata is looking useless because by trying to cover so much space on the pitch there aren't any short balls to hold possession and play one twos. To create gaps in defence. Thats why we are trying these wild crosses and hopeless chip, lob ball things from outside the area. It is crap, I'm done with him. Fergie has done another Kleberson/Bebe/Obertan....
 
players were below par..... Playing at OT and getting thumped by Liverpool and now City is not what fans have become accustomed to.


Moyes might not know what he is doing ,but the team has no spine,no passion and nobody in the squad that can galvanize everybody to play for the shirt.


I can only imagine how wonderful the game against Bayern will be like ...:rolleyes:

As technically deficient as Moyes looks - which is in stark contrast to the teams he fielded while at Everton - United does not possess the players necessary to play with a swash-buckling attitude. The 3 first-choice deep-lying midfielders are all essentially the same player; conservative & immobile. Only Carrick has the eye for a pass but he's had a poor season by his standards and his support has been lacklustre at the best of times. The woeful defence also means the base of the midfield has to worry more about defensive duties than attacking forays.

In attack they have too many of the same player, with Kagawa, Rooney, Mata and even Zanuzaj all having an eye for or being better suited to the central channel behind the striker. The result is trying to fit all of them in inevitably puts one of them in an uncomfortable position where they are ineffectual, so United end up being a man light as one of their forward players is an awkward panda.

And as I have repeatedly said, RVP and Evra seemingly stamped their tickets way back before the season started and Vidic stamped his ticket out two-months ago. Too many players that United relied on under Fergie and whom Moyes desperately needed to help out are just not up for it anymore, physically and/or mentally.

Whether Moyes stays or goes this squad needs a big shake-up. Players need to come in and others need to go.
