Unlucky you say. He got a second yellow. His foul was more a straight red than a yellow. He's lucky, at least he only misses one game instead of 3.

Did you see his first yellow? It was harsh to say the least.

A straight red for a tackle in your own half like that is simply incorrect.

Did you miss Carragher pulling down Owen as the last man with no covering defenders on the edge of the box? Now that is a straight red.

It is true that we were poor. Many players played badly for us but the ref got crucial decisions which should have gone our way, completely wrong. In a game which is always going to be as close as this, that is unacceptable.
 
Obviously we played really K@k on the day, how else would we lose to such a cr@p team....
Atleast Rafa will keep his job (good news for us..hehe:D)

I already said in the Liverpool forum that I think it was a red card offense. We are talking about Vidic not Carra. Do You still think Vidic was unlucky?

There was an Interesting stat that I heard during the game yesterday. Rafa has won 113 of his 200 games in charge in the Premiership. Alex only achieved 86 in his first 200 games.

Good news Indeed.

Same state when Rafa took over? Not far off anyway. Man United previous to Alex joining finished as follows:

81/82 - 3rd
82/83 - 3rd
83/84 - 4th
84/85 - 4th
85/86 - 4th

Liverpool previous to Rafa:

99/00 - 4th
00/01 - 3rd
01/02 - 2nd
02/03 - 5th

Do you really believe that the state Liverpool was in in 2004 is comparable to the state Manchester United was in in 86? Think past league positions to actual state of the club.

No I don't think they were in the same state hence why I said it wasn't far off. I know Alex took over during a more difficult time than when Rafa took over but they both took over a team that needed changing. Man United were still a huge club hence being in the top 4, 5 years previous to Alex joining.

The stats don't lie.

You weren't poor, they were just better. Also, don;t blame the ref for not being able to score. Imight have been mightily pissed at Ovrebo the idiot, but I also admitted that if we weren't able to score it was our own fault that Chelsea never went to the final of the Champs League. Man up FFS.
