Here's to getting City in the next round of the league cup ...revenge needs to be had as far as I'm concerned.

To anyone that watched the match, how did Pogba and Morisson play? I know they were both subs but still.

Morrison played well ,from the 30 minutes on the pitch he looks pretty sharp , gets into space , has good pace ,n very attack minded , looks very promising .

Pogba still has to show what he's about which is understandable ,he's only played two halfs so far ,we'll have to reserve judgement over the season, would like to see him start a game so he gets into it from the off.

Morrison showed a glimpse what he can do. He and Berb play a nice little 1-2 with a neat backheal from Morrison but was just stopped by a last ditch tackle as he went thru.
Guttridge almost scored for Aldershot there in the end

Best pic I've seen in a long while... I hosed myself. :D

watch how Citeh fades later in the season. Man utd been doing the squad rotation thing to compete in the League, Champions league, Fa cup and league cup for ages. That's why Alex rotates his players a lot so when they play together at some stage they work as a unit. Citeh not doing much of that I notice. They're in the Champions league as well and you can see it with the results in the Champions league. You can't play your best team week in weak out relying on your stars making turns as substitutes for each other.

Wayne Rooney heads back to Goodison Park as Red Devils look to bounce back from derby day defeat

Everton's squad will be tested strongly after their marathon League Cup defeat against Chelsea on Wednesday, and will be without influential loanee Royston Drenthe - who has looked the Toffees' most dangerous player in recent weeks - following his red card in extra time.

David Moyes is more than likely to adopt a 4-5-1 formation, which the Goodison Park boss favours due to a shortage of strikers at the club, following the sale of Jermaine Beckford and injury to Victor Anichebe. Louis Saha looks set to lead the line against his former team, with ex-Red Devil Phil Neville and midfielder Tim Cahill both possible doubts after picking up knocks midweek.

Sir Alex Ferguson has a number of options to choose from following Manchester United's 3-0 victory over Aldershot, which essentially featured a side of reserve players. Michael Owen and Dimitar Berbatov are likely to miss out on a place in the starting XI despite their strong showing on Tuesday.

Expect Sir Alex to revert to the pairing of Chicharito and former Everton striker Wayne Rooney, with the latter set for an acrimonious welcome, as per usual at Goodison Park.

In central midfield, Sir Alex may favour changing things up after last week's debacle against Manchester City, with Michael Carrick likely to replace Anderson, although Darren Fletcher is set to start with Tom Cleverley still only just returning from injury.

Probable lineup
De Gea
Smalling, Jones, Vidic, Evra
Nani, Fletcher, Carrick, Young
Rooney, Hernandez

Poor poor poor game. Everton completely dominated the 2nd half.

Seems the entire team has forgotten how to play football. Really worrying. Evans was terrible yet again.

Cleverley's injury didn't look too bad so hopefully he won't miss any games.

Pretty much my sentiments , but its an away game ,n and three points is priceless.

Now let's enjoy the cracker of a game happening at the bridge.
