Sometimes the best players do hey. Ronaldo did it, Rooney had a brief moment of it. Ballotelli is just oozing it (). As long as he respects the club, the manager and the team, who cares about Ego. Besides, SAF has a way with the youngsters, nothing a good old soccer tog to the noggin can't cure...

Yeah that's true but they all did it AFTER they joined the club, not before. I'm not going to get my hopes up of him joining United though.

In other news it looks like we're in the running for Michu from Rayo Vallenco for 3mil. Scored 19 goals lat season (most out of all the midfielders in La Liga)

Rooney and Ronaldo are in a different league to Ballotelli....just saying

But yes they all have ego's and SAF is the best in the bu

Hazard weighing up options

Lille star Eden Hazard has said he will make a decision over his next move based on his prospective playing time and on-field position.

Hazard, 21, is currently considering offers from Manchester City, Manchester United and Chelsea and his agent has said he plans to announce his next move before Belgium's friendly game with England at Wembley on June 2.

Reports in France had claimed that he had agreed a five-year contract with United, but he maintains that he is still weighing up his options.

"I do not know when I'll make a decision about my future club," he said in HLN. "It will be Manchester City, Manchester United or Chelsea. My decision will depend on my position and how much playing time I will get.

"Not everyone can say that they have a choice between three top clubs."

Hazard also said he was enjoying his playmaker role for the Belgian national team. "I'm happy that I'm playing for the Red Devils [Belgium] in my best position, as a true No. 10," he said.

Guess that rules out City.

Have you seen him play? I think he'd be in the starting XI at which ever team he joined.

Ssshhh. That rules out City damnit :p

Then again he says he wants the no. 10 jersey. He ain't gonna get it from Rooney or Mata, and Edin Dzeko is apparently keen to leave City so that means he'll most likely head to City.

Who knows...

Tis silly season after all. :D

Mebbe Hazard will go to United and Rooney will go City and Mata will go to Swansea and Dzeko will sign for Norwich :D

Hey guys, just wanted to pop in say that Hazard has given his answer.

I'm signing for the champion's league winner.

Though this being Hazard, it could still be you guys. He wasn't specific with the year.

Guess we'll hopefully be getting Kagawa then. Sweet :) Kagawa will be a better fit imo, plus he's more of the type of player we need.

i feel the same ...we have nani and valencia and young for the wings...maybe another one wont be bad ...i like blackburns David Hoilett...and we need more of a creative CAM then a winger who can play in the middle

hazard can play in the middle, so can kevin de bruyne, as well as marin. it's going to be interesting to see how they all combine behind torres this season.

Exactly. Seeing as we bid for Kagawa and Hazard at the same time, we can now take 7 mil from the 32mil and pay Dortmund the 20 mil they want.

That'll leave us with 25mil remaining. Maybe spend that on Strootman and Baines?

i know hazard can play but i dont think he has creativity as maybe mata or silva ...well thats when i watched one or two times

and will be nice to have torres up alone with them just behind ..but chelsea will dip and buy 2 good strikers

they have the money why not

baines would be a good cover to evra if he furks up and fergie stops liking him haha

Baines a tad too old ya

Baines has 3 and a half years on Evra. That's enough for me. Besides what other young decent LB's are there out there who aren't going to cost a lot?

well RBs and LBs never cost alot unless bought by madrid ..we have fabio who is good but yeah he wont be there

domenico criscito is being charged for match fixing so that goes

we should ask for tottenhams Benoît Assou-Ekotto since he doesnt want to be playing in europa league

Man Utd close on Kagawa deal

Manchester United are closing in on the €15 million signing of Japan midfielder Shinji Kagawa, according to reports in Germany.

Kagawa, 23, has been linked with United for some time and it appears the deal may be close to coming to fruition, with Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc stating "some details are still to be confirmed".

Kicker suggests that the two sides are close to agreeing an initial €15 million fee, potentially rising to €22 million with add-ons.

Kagawa recently confirmed that he has met with Old Trafford boss Sir Alex Ferguson over a move and, amid talk of other suitors, it appears that United are leading the chase for the playmaker.

Formerly of Cerezo Osaka, Kagawa moved to Dortmund in 2010 and helped inspire the Westfalenstadion side to Bundesliga titles in both seasons at the club, as well as the 2011-12 DFB Pokal trophy.

As with most modern footballers, money talks.
