Operative word there being IF. You could make the same case for Diaby at Arsenal being the best midfielder in the league. But until either actually prove it, they are not.
Yes you could make that case:) -Nani has gotten a lot better and has had quite an impact on the team in the last 2 seasons so he has shown what he can do and has proven to be a stand out player (just hasnt reached that world class level)

Lol. You're so touchy Smokes.

I'm not. It's just ludicrous when people say that United haven't been favorites for the league... What people usually say is that United will always start slow and then go full steam ahead after Christmas or some such stuff. Proving people wrong? Yeah, United proved a heck of lot of people wrong when they didn't win the league.

I still reckon you guys have a year or two left of dominance (depending on whether Kagawa can replace Scholes and someone can replace Giggs - in which case you're sorted for at least another 5ish years).

His talent is unquestionable, but he does not display it consistently enough to be heralded as one of the best. Same problem that we have with Malouda, and that Liverpool have with Luis Suarez.

True, Nani is frustrating as f.uck. If he was consistent though.. Man.

One match he'll make everyone else look average then the next two he forgets how to pass 5 yards.
