Official Modern Warfare 2 Discussion Thread

Played some again last night. Seems the only people still interested in playing MW2 are the moaners and groaners. Every two seconds its: "campers" or "SoS clan is gay" or "I am incompetent and need to learn how to play SIMMS".... :)

Well, not really the last one, but that I what I see when those girls moan like that... LOL
 
So, I played with the DZG clan last night and someone on their team was hosting. But they were hosting a zombie VS humans game-mod. We played through the normal/official steam, and not through the alteriwnet. Which I found strange.
But in any case, this was really alot of fun, as it was something else, than the normal MW2 games

Any of you played it yet? or have the mod?

I have not played that mod, but I have joined a modded lobby. I left though. I didn't want to take any chances getting banned :(

To be quit honest, who really cares. in less than 90 days, almost no one will be playng this again.
In any case I am not hosting, and I joined a friend, so if they want to ban me, they surely can, but not without a fight!!!!!!

1st You will be VAC banned if you host any hacked servers on MW2 and secondly if you get VAC banned it will always stay on that account and every single person that knows you will know about this so youll end up creating a new account with a new nickname and that sometimes even doesnt help. Go ask Skaze from Pro what happens when you get banned from cod4 and mw2. The community will never accept you ever again. But you wont get banned if you happen to join the game but if VAC can prove that you blatantely join these servers they are well within their rights to ban you.
 
True, cant wait for nov 9... anyone see the video with the "stimpacks" or whatever they are called. Does that replace the knives as we know it?? Have not seen the video yet.
 
My copy of Modern Warfare 2 has got a nice circular scratch on it and now it wont allow me to play any multipalyer games or special ops challenges.

I have read that all I need to do is borrow a working copy of the game and install it on the HDD then I just need to use my disc to prove its not a copy. Unfortunatley I have just moved to Cape Town and I dont know anyone that has the game.

Does anyone know of a place where I can rent modern warfare 2 on Xbox 360?
 
Woot, got a new hassle free way of getting updated at RIG and it works so well that we had a full server last night (in other words, it's a very noob friendly guide, lol). Coupled with a few other things, we'll resurrect it enough to last until Black Ops comes :D
