We have four channels dude, one called rape the haxors. We use that one when playing a clanny against you lot! :)
 
Nah, comparing the two, there's no way you're getting even 10% more clarity than ingame voice ..... you guys must just be playing on *** servers. To me it's almost exactly the same quality. I'm not dissing TS coz as I said, for clannies it's a must .... just saying that there's much ado about nothing.
 
Although it gets a bit hectic now and then when everyone speaks at the same time! Not to mention when you are playing a clannie and everyone is trying to warn you where they got shot from! In the end you get shot from point blank in front of you because you cannot concentrate! :P
 
Yeah, but nice to listen in on a clannie who is on the other team ... give up that location!!! lol
but sometimes, one forgets the whole clan is on, and you yack away to another member for 5 min solid .... been there done that!

The options to turn of push to talk on TS is awesome. It can be done with steam as well, but I don't think all players in game want to hear you talking all the time. Also I can scream For F%#$% sakes and other very colorful words when slaughter Toob me :p

Oi, I take offence to that. I only tube when people camp. So if you got tubed by me lately then I only have this to say: "GET OFF YOUR ARSE LAZY ASS!" :)
 
CoD premium service is coming

Hold on to your hats, boys and girls........ it is coming!!!!!!

Activision still sorting out the details
As we have said previously, Activision is on a quest to launch a subscription model in conjunction with the Call of Duty franchise and now COO Thomas Tippl has confirmed that the company is working on such a model, and it is already in the pipeline for release.

While Activision is still sorting out what form this subscription model will take, the company says that the CoD Premium services (as they are referring to it now) will not cheat fans out of more content. Suggestions of multiple price points for the subscription model are whispered, but no one, including those at Activision seems to know for sure.

The goal with the subscription or CoD Premium service will be to add new and innovative service offerings that are not possible with the current model that the company has with the Call of Duty franchise today. As to what these new offerings might be, apparently they are not yet ready to say.

Despite the negative press and backlash from the CoD community, the company seems to be confident on its strategy direction and they believe that they will add enough value to get players to pay up.

Jip, the only two things aside from pwning you! ;)

If they implement this "model" then I can promise you I will boycott any future Activision release. If other developers follow suit then I guess it will be back to pirating for me. Just imagine all the money I will save canceling my DSL, ISP and never having to buy a game again! MAN that will be awesome!
