I've had me throw my knife, kill the guy, but he pressed the melee knife button, and we both died by the proverbial sword :P.

But yeah, knives are awesome when you need to dispatch a guy quickly... just pop around the corner, toss, and take cover :p.
 
So now I've had it with MW2 & VAC. My account was banned yesterday??? WTF?? Said cheat detected, FFS, I have played for 590hrs and I'm prestige 4... cheat where??? I am dumbfounded! Something has gone very wrong? This weekend I did not play much, I did play Co-operative mode with a clannie tho. Also I have had 3 BSOD's while playing MW2 this last week & during the weekend. I thought it was my OC and temps. So I clocked my ram and CPU back to stock speeds... Start up yesterday and boom ... banned. Well that it for me, F steam, F Vac ... I wont be supporting it any more.

Shame dude, I know you can contact steam and ask them about this... Maybe it has something to do with those wrongful bans of them a while back... :confused:

But I have to agree. Was playing last night and I just had it with looking for server and the stoopid lag. So, I quit the game and went to watch tv. Downloading MOH open beta now and will give that a try... :mad:
 
I downloaded the MOH open Beta and it seems like it is going to be an awesome game! Pity there is only two maps, but hey, it is something... It is like a cross between BC2 and MW2. Quite awesome.

IRG, sorry to hear bud. Play on Yvi's account when she isn't playing. :)

BO is coming soon, no worries... Or you can level up on BC2 a little. You can ask Hoekie it is not as bad as everyone makes it out to be.

Don't really know yet. The grenades and tubes... yeah tubes do not really work. tubed the same oke twice and he did not die.... same happed with the grenades. he proximity part in the game is not well

I have to say after starting to get the hang of it, it is OK. So let’s hope they fixed/fixing the stuff before release, which is in 9days.

Maybe I’m just to used to MW2...... is going to take some getting used to....

Yeah, also noticed the whole tube thing. Maybe partly due to lag. There seems to be LOTS of camping spot on the Mountain map (can't recall name...) Can't wait for my next sniper rifle... On expert on all three kits available... :)

They normally take about a day or 2 before responding. :(

On which server are you guys playing? If there are any other servers, except for Igames'... :o

My download is finally finished, so I will be playing as well tonight.

Sharkbait, I do a matchmake and play with whatever it gives me...

I do not think it is lag, as after the 2nd tube, it was empty and I had to use the rifle, and killed him with that..... so :confused:

and I also do not use the match make...... that just throws you into an international server

there are about 8 saix ones. when searching for servers, just go to search options(I think) and select africa

Dude .. I did use a download manager (FDM) ... must be an MWEB thing!!! It just would not resume after it stopped ... but no hastle, changed my source and re-downloaded it!
 
LoL, I used the FF download manager, if it can even be called that and it finished. :p

Will check tonight guys, heard I have a pizza date first after work. :(

O, and I think I will be mostly on the Igame servers, as I have Iburst a vein in my head

This year is not ending well. My employer is going through some retrenchments starting at executive and management level... *sigh :(
