Hmmm. I am on Rig. Are you guys using the Alteriwnet copy of Modern Warfare 2? I will stop by sometime and jam a bit with you guys :)

How do I get an invite to RIG? I want invite a few mates.



I will try to add the rules this weekend for HC Search and Destroy this weekend. We can try it out in game and see if the balancing etc is all fine. Maybe Saturday or Sunday night Slaughter/IRG?

Awesome, just try and catch me when I am sober... Playing tipsy is not fun. Ask any of the teamies I killed on Saturday evening... :)

Ja AlterIWnet, the whole guide is there,
just go to your profile and look for a link with something like invites
 
BTW, we have way more players than RiG for MW2 nowadays and I originally made the guide for alterIWnet SA.

Hey guys, Im contemplating buying MW2 from steam, but I am having trouble deciding if its worth it. Its really damn expensive! I want a good multiplayer first person shooter game, the last one I played was CSS (yes, im really out of touch with gaming). What you guys think?
 
Meh, maybe next month I'll get MW2, I just bought Bad Company 2 because reviews say its better, and its cheaper :P

I bought BC2 after I had played a lot of MW2, loaded BC2, played the game.... Went online, tried it for about 45 minutes and hated it :( been back on MW2 all the way now and loving it!
 
meh, oh well... guess I screwed up... I just installed BC2 and when i go into a game after a few minutes I get kicked by punkbuster. I have no idea why its kicking me. fscking game :(
 
Go to evenbalance.com and follow the instructions regarding bad company 2. That should fix your punkbuster problem.

Anyway back to the thread. Im happy to say so far i cant see that Medal of Honor will be better than MW2. Yes its still a very early BETA but its still feels like Bad Company 2. Its not as fast paced as i was expecting.
 
I also tried out battlefield. Same story as IRG. My battlefield is collecting dust at home....


Modern Warfare 2 is way more fun IMO! but both have the advantages/disadvantages....


@Fridge I hope Medal of Honor reaches open beta so I can give it a try.

I love BC2.

But I tried MW2 for the second time last night, on Hardcore team deathmatch. It was fun. Blimey its fast though.
 
czc, add me as a friend - Slaught3rza. I will invite you when we play Rust free for all. (maybe launchers only - :))

That is helluva fast...

BC2 is not too bad, but the guys online should learn how to play in squads. Too many guys run around and don't help their squad members... :(
 
We have a mybb BC2 clan, so we play with each other almost every night.

I loved MW2 - the game is fine but the lack of servers, steam probs, hackers and having to pay to play with others got me fed up and I bought BC2. That is not the reason I love BC2 though... the game play is awesome and it is because of the ability to play in squads that I love it more than MW2. In MW2 the only game type I played was hardcore TD since the rest was bleh, but in BC2 I actually enjoy playing all game modes... and no - I don't snipe... OK maybe with my shotgun lol

Oh wait... and you can drive vehicles and fly choppers!!!
 
Got my first flawless game this weekend. 20-0... was awsome! hehe I sniped my way to it in Afghan. Made about 6 kills on my way to the "spot" I love, pitched tent, made some coffee & toast and camped away!

IMO its not worth so much, but it has its moments when your not stuck in a lobby....
