@Mephisto - Slaughter & I setup the whole AlterIWnet MW2, joined the SA server (there were about 35 people online), but could not find any games??? We could get into a map together no problem tho.... Also, I thought Invites worked now? We were seriously amazed at the speed the game runs... wow! Took some getting used to! We are gonna try get our whole clan up and running on it (there must be about 15 of us these days)...

IRG, when were you on? I connected as well, at about 8pm, but only 4 people was on. so i did not even try to find a game.

I also have the problem of each time I launch the game all my settings are reset, anyone that can help?
 
i give up with MW2, new maps old maps with uncapped 4mb/s i only get one red bar, black ops cant arrive sooner
 
I updated and my game didn't want to launch. Double click on the exe and nothing happens....Weird I wonder if it has anything to with the multiplayer playlist file. I will have a look at it this weekend...

I see there is an extra file according to the guide on Youtube ?? I have not run that one, gonna try later when home... (step 3 - Move Stimulus)

There is a explain in the forum at RIG ..... people are trying the about 4 methods of doing the update and all 4 are different so it's leading to the people being incompatible with each other.
 
Where is stonecold??? he needs to update his guide... with both scenarious (using a newly steam updated copy & updating from an existing AlterIWnet copy)
 
Lol, I'm more "Can't wait for Medal of Honour 2010" ...... some peeps have played the beta and reckon it's a mix of MW2 and BFBC2 ... with dedi servers ;)
 
i own BFBC2 on steam and on thursday I got the Medal of Honor Beta added to steam automatically. I think everyone that owns BC2 on steam now has the beta. Its nice, the combat feels more like BC2 though(I believe its the same game engine). The hit detection looks and feels the same. Maps are nice and big, but lots of weird bugs still. The game doesnt quite feel right yet. But I think the final will be awesome.

Its gonna be Bad Company 2 with killstreaks. Not really holding my breath.
 
So is anyone playing the new map pack?...Any idea if the loading issues has been resolved?
