Better late than never. Sorry to reply now. I MEAN i get KNIFED WHILE im RUNNING . I hate campers and tubers. I am now on lvl 25 btw. Still suck at it, but at least im not overinflating my own skillset in mw2 like some ppl.

Commando! I don't really like it, but I use it for the same reason. If its anything I hate about Modern Warfare 2, this would be it. To knife someone 10KM across the map :p and sometimes it worse with the lag. Empty a clip into the B##### :p and he runs and knifes you....
 
Finally got updated proper and held a private match last night to check the new maps out. They are cool and I can't wait to start having clan matches :D

pah-leeez .... I knife you so much that my blade now gets wood at seeing your name at the start of every map, lag or no lag, lol :p
 
With the bad service from steam (cant join friends games etc, new map pack not working, players hacking etc) what will I be paying for? Its not worth it IMO

Which instructions do u want me to include ? I'm going to do a complete overhaul of help questions on the site itself, and update my guides again, was just busy till today.

Howsit, nice to hear you gonna do a rewrite!

I basically what I think is needed is 2 branches for installing, depending on where you are with AlterIW..

Branch 1 is for people who have it running but with the 1.1.195 release of MW2 and just need to update to 2.??? and the new maps.
Branch 2 is for people starting from scratch with the newly updated MW2 (install both map packs).

Since my version 1.2 guide, I've discovered several things that I can change in my instructions, to streamline for everyone, using an updated steam copy (I used mine) as well as one for people starting from scratch. Basically, it will be a new guide, version 1.3 incorporating v1.2 and the supplement guide. I'll put a FAQ up on the help page on the site.

If you guys have any other questions, let me know. :)
 
Thanks Stonecold I know a lot of guys who want to switch, but is daunted by the installation.
 
Uh, we've had the guide up at RIG for the last week already ....... most have already made the change and are playing the new maps :confused:


Oh well ..... your doff prerogative I suppose.
 
probably me....

I followed the RIG instructions, How do I know what games are being played? sure it tells me that there are X amount of players and Y amount of lobbies, but damn, which ones?
