Replace UDA with this one:

http://www.mediafire.com/?n25t049k474gzcp

"Finally fixed editing the UDA.

Initial Size: 200MB
My Size: 70MB

Removed:
1. QuickOffice [Removed almost all files, but after flash, open Application Manager, if you still see Quickoffice, remove it. Its just shown because of sisregistry]
2. Adobe Reader [Removed almost all files, but after flash, open Application Manager, if you still see adobe reader, remove it. Its just shown because of sisregistry]
3. Hero of Sparta DEMO
4. Sazam
5. All unnecessary language files except .r01 (english)"

Alternatively there are all sorts of different CFW's based on a similar, though slightly older leak over at Dailymobile.

Exactly how I flash:

1. Download your desired Firmware from Dailymobile Nokia S^3 section (111.030.0607), and then make a folder RM-596 in phoenix under products. Extract the files there.
2. Open Phoenix, do not connect your phone yet. Open settings, remove USB1 connection.
3. Go to File and then click open products and then choose RM-596
4. After that Click Flashing and then click Update Firmware.
5. Click product codes and click the assigned version.
6. Under the same page check Dead Phone USB Flashing.
7. Below the page click option
8. Now you can see 2 files with color red, Delete them, press ok.
9. Now click Refurbish.
10. A firmware update popup will appear with instructions, press ok.
11. Turn your phone off, connect it, at first it will try and charge it, disconnect your phone, wait for it to turn off again, now re-connect, flashing will start automatically the second time you attach it.
12. If the message Programming Succeeded appears.
Wait for a little longer countdown starts from 25-1 will appear
dont let it finish, if you see it starts counting down, disconnect your phone
and press the power button. Thats it.

Sometimes you might have to restart your phone once or twice if it gets stuck at any stage, but after that it's plain-sailing..

If you're coming from Anna, I suggest you do a full backup with the latest Nokia Suite, and format your mass memory as well, ..just makes sure no little bugs creep in.

Which version is this?
I installed http://www.ipmart-forum.com/showthr...V-edition-by-STRATEGIST-based-on-111.030.0607 but Maps is not working and it's apparently an 800mb+ download so would rather download new firmware if Maps works in that one?

Everything is working in this version: It's the stripped down (if you replace the UDA with the one I've linked to) T-Mobile-PL leak from Navifirm 111.030.0607.360.04

Product Code remains the same.

Afterwards, use Nokia Suite to download just the map of SA +/-90mb and turn maps to offline mode, don't even need to use data. Weather app working.

Loads of different CFW versions based on the previous 111/030.0607 leaked by Taylor over at Dailymobile.

This has been the best for me so far, and I've tried 4-5..

It's the version that appeared on navifirm. Yeah maps do work if you don't flash your mass storage. But 800mb lol do you want to download all the world's maps.

Backup the "cities" folder from Mass Storage if you want to save the maps you've already downloaded..

How did you guys hack your phones once you flashed with Belle in order to be able to install unsigned apps?

my N8 reboots quiet often this days, should i get worried?

Yeah, i would because that was when i had problems.. The first time [Original software]

After I install some AV on my N8, then phone kept restarting.. Didn't want to boot up..

Did the 3-button rest, and lost everything.. :(

So yeah.. Could just be some software error, think what you install previously?

When you upgrade to Belle it's best to backup and format the Mass Memory, then re-install necessary apps..
