nteresting stories in The Daily Mirror and The Sun, who have conflicting reports over what might happen to the Manchester City job, assuming Roberto Mancini does one at some point, of course.

The Sun claims Jose Mourinho is 'ready and willing' to take over at Eastlands as soon as next summer, despite Mancini's current contract running until 2017.

The paper reports: 'Mourinho's agent Jorge Mendes recently met with City's new director of football Txiki Begiristain in Portugal.

'And Mourinho's advisors have indicated the Real boss, who still has four years of his deal to run at the Bernabeu, would prefer City over Paris St Germain, which is another option available to him.'

Meanwhile, The Daily Mirror quotes agent Francois Gallardo as saying: "Guardiola has a pre-deal to be the next manager of Manchester City. No matter if Milan or whoever make offers to him."

Gallardo also claimed City will then make a move for Victor Valdes.

"It will be an offer to stun your mind," he added. "If I were Barcelona, I would be very concerned

Since that horrific dive against Stoke. He also doesn't wave his arms around and scream and shout at the officials as much as he used to. I think Rodgers had a word with him.
