You lucky.

Really difficult ones..

:(

Uncharted 2 was always going to be a must buy for me, it really still is one of the best single player game out there right now, but damn, that teaser trailer really is a friggin tease - it's barely longer than 10 seconds.

@InfoGuy: lol, just get R2 and you'll also have bragging rights. :D

The best part is that this teaser trailer is in real time, no CGI.

The Uncharted 2 teaser trailer sent waves through the forums. One question that keeps arising; is the trailer rendered in real-time, or is it fancy CGI? Naughty Dog has exclusively given Gamezine the answer.

Richard Diamant, Naughty Dog's Lead Character Artist, told Gamezine; "Yes, the trailer was all rendered real-time in our engine."

That's awesome. Now the wait start for the inevitable release date announcement, after which the wait will start for the inevitable release. *sigh*

On a different note, are there any other Devil May Cry fans on here?

@Kerrang, i'm a devil may cry fan. Been so since the first one. I take it you're a masochist as well? Hahaha

I know but I also wrote exams this year it sucks when there are good games just waiting to be play it almost torture :( good luck by the way hope you pass ;)

Yup, big time masochist.:D I don't have my copies of Dmc 1 and 2 anymore, but still have my Spec Ed DMC3 and 4, and i'm wishing for some info on DMC5. Will Dante return as the main playable character? *holds thumbs*

Although i found Nero to be pretty cool in his own right - looooooved the Devil Bringer. I think after the recent spate of games i've a hankering for something more difficult and challenging, hence my sudden DMC reminiscing.

There's not even a whisper about a new DMC. I still got all my copies, dmc3 is actually easier than the normal one. the director of DMC is busy with Bayonetta which is quite like DMC but with a female lead. I really hope Dante returns as playable character, Nero was cool but too whiny for me. Were you an onimusha fan as well?

@Solidus: Yeah, got high hopes for Bayonetta. Hair and shoes as your weapons = WIN in my books. ;)
Strangely i've never played any Onimusha game, even though i know they got great reviews etc, i never got round to them. The DMC series (including the crappy second installment) are really one of my all time favourite francises, and my fingers are itching for the next iteration.

sorry double post, deleted, i just hate typing on my phone :( Bayonetta looks like it'll be a hit. Pity you never played Onimusha one of the best IP's of last gen.

So i picked up Prince of Persia yesterday and while i'm not very far into the game, i'm very impressed with what i've seen thus far. The artstyle is fantastic - this is what cel-shaded should look like on all games. Dialogue has been pretty snappy thus far, and i'm glad they used Nathan Drake's voice-over guy for the Prince's voice, (Uncharted still is one of the best voice-acted games i've ever played)
Some reviwers moaned a bit that you can't really die, but personally i don't see how falling off a cliff, dying and respawning before that section is any different to falling, being caught by Elika and placed before the section in which you perished.
Can't wait to unlock all combo's etc. Already downloaded the Altair costume, but haven't used it yet.
All in all i'm very impressed. :D

Just this :D

Killzone 2 only using 60% of SPU's overall power?

Speaking in IGN's latest Play Beyond podcast, Jeff Haynes revealed that even during the heaviest loads, Killzone 2 utilizes roughly only 60 per cent of the SPU's.

"It's incredible to see huge levels and see the deferred rendering and note that on all the SPU’s, even on the heaviest load were coming up to about 60%," Haynes said. "They weren't coming close to maxing out. .They had about 40% of space before they started tripping or saw slow down on some of the processes."

Furthermore, Haynes noted that the preview codes recently distributed to various media outlets were of an alpha build of the title, and have since been polished up . Visiting Guerilla Games in Amsterdam, Haynes was shown an updated version of the game, mid to late beta, noting that elements such as lighting, cut scenes, glitches, load times, have all been optimized.

Killzone 2 is due out exclusively on PlayStation 3 on February 27, 2009.
